no more US netflix :(

Hola is blocked and I cant get any other VPNs to work....something to do with having Vodafone as my ISP :(

does anyone have any suggestions please?

UnBlock Us. Costs about 3 quid a month. Never had any problems with it. Depends whether you want to pay or not. I have Netflix US on my tablet and Netflix UK on my phone. Best of both worlds :)

They are blocking all of them now, so you will have to wait until someone invents something to get around it. It won't be anything to do with vodafone. Netflix are cracking down on it.

thanks itstheyear but I spent ages fiddling about trying to get unblock-us and getflix to work, followed the instructions but nada:(
my various searches uncovered some stuff about DNS vpns not working with my ISP (vodafone)
I'll have to get back on the case tomorrow....

Ours gave up the ghost last week. We were halfway through a series of the us office too. DP is v techy & has been on the case all week with no success Sad Has stopped DS shouting "da tiger da tiger" at me when he wants to watch daniel tiger though as he has now forgotten about it rubbish mum alert

I got an error message with hola a few weeks ago then it started working again
maybe it will start working again this time?

DP is downloading it in some dodgy way but looks crap quality & has literally taken 4 bloody days of constant computer nonsense. Would be easier & poss cheaper to buy the boxset!

Mine went a while ago, just one thing Hola is seen as a good VPN to use as if I remember correctly it's not a VPN but a proxy, and makes your internet an exit node meaning that when you are using it for US Netflix you are using another users IP address, however someone can connect to yours, that's not bad if they're just using Netflix but they could be pirating, searching for child pornography etc and it would connect to you

US Netflix has so much more choice. I only had it for a month before it went.

I'm destined never to watch Supernatural from the beginning or ever get further than series 5 of Criminal Minds.

I know the DVD box sets are dirt cheap from Amazon, especially if you buy used copies, but I'm not able to watch DVDs at the moment and it's so convenient to plug my headphones into my tablet and watch on there.

Damn you, Netflix!

It's ruined my liiiife [overdramatic]. I watch everything on other regions of Netflix, first unblockus failed me then I couldn't get unotelly working, then I had a very brief period of respite using adfreetime but now even that's stopped working Sad. Resorted to using a VPN to watch The OC on the CW Seed app, and resorting to illegal torrenting. Waaaaahhh!

Surf Easy VPN is still working. Not sure how long for by the sounds of it. I think it's £3 pm via Apple App Store.
