Watched the first episode of this last night and really liked it. Set around a beautiful family-run hotel.
Contemporary scandi-style and old volvos too!

About a mother who gets her three adult estranged children back to the family hotel, then commits suicide having told them to get back together basically.

Anyone else enjoying?

I think he is, yes .Their relationship seems a little... familiar otherwise.

Only Victoria was the one who had terminal cancer. She had the pervy brother and she was infected with the deadly virus by her SIL. Died in the toilet coughing blood everywhere. Then the female cop shot herself as she was infected by the blood.

It reminds me of Legacy/Bloodline but I'm enjoying it. The summer season the siblings have to work together would be what, a maximum of 4 months, maybe 3? They're struggling from the get go which is irritating but there would be no drama if they just divvied up the tasks and go on with it .

I was going to stop in Aland on the way from Stockholm to Helsinki this Summer but don't have the time, so perhaps next year, It looks beautiful.

What's Bloodline?

I think it's not just the working together (although they do seem to find that remarkably hard –there must be serious historical family problems!), it's the committing to being there, like Jonna being offered that job that would have meant her having to go away.

It does look gorgeous there, doesn't it? I wonder if it's a real guesthouse.

Bloodline is a US series. It's set down in the Floriday Keyes in a lovely guest house. The siblings come together for a memorial to their father, at their mother's request, one is the black sheep and all sorts of secrets and lies emerge.

Even when a not nice character (Lewis Feingold in Love my Way), he's just compelling imo.

I'm not sure I've ever seen him playing nice, tbh. But that's OK; he's so good at being bad.

What have you seen him in?

Not much TBH. Animal Kingdom, The Dark Knight Rises and Slow West; I think that's all. In Animal K he is blood-freezingly terrifying.

Bloodline is on UK Netflix. You could get a month's free trial and devour it.

The valuation of the guest house, remember Oskar told his sibs 1.5 million yet the financial advisor had said 2 million so he's being a bit sneaky.

And I still think there'll be some connection between the dead/disappeared dad and the neighbour's son who Lasse's daughter will hook up with I reckon.

And yes, there is surely going to be a revelation about the dad and the neighbours.

I just long to give Lasse's daughter a good moisturising treatment on her hair plus it is such an old fashioned look for such a young girl.

Is her hair dry? I can't picture it. I wish she'd put some proper clothes on though. Tired of her forever going about in those tiny shorts and always with one shoulder of her T-shirt hanging off.

On another note, I quite fancy Lasse.

I can't believe she heard the shagging and then opened the door anyway. How long has she been working in the guesthouse, because she doesn't seem to know the first thing about discretion.
