I wonder how much they get paid to be on the show, and how much of it is scripted?

I didn't think they actually got paid that much, I reckon older cast get more but maybe £2-300 per ep?

The situations they're put in are set up like the big parties and holidays/ hotel stays etc they have at the end of the episodes but I reckon most of what they actually say is just them.

Yeah I can't imagine they get paid more than a few hundred each a week. They make their money by opening shops and trading on their Towie celebrity.

I think they stopped Fran appearing as she was always getting into very aggressive drunk arguments and they clearly try and stop them appearing too drunk anymore. I've noticed even when they're drinking it's a lot more mixers (or at least looks that way) than wine and beer like it used to be. Re Carol, I'd say the party was a last minute thing and the trip long planned.

Wasn't Fran caught fighting in the girls toilets or something? It wasn't during filming but the police were involved. The same happened to Mario, he was caught for doing cocaine in a night club so was suspend he came back briefly but left again pretty sharpish.
