A stag weekend (literally) as they go deer hunting - that goes wrong and they start getting bumped off .,,,,,,,,,,,

Looks good. 3 parter :)

Wasn't sure at the start but really enjoyed it. Can't wait for part 2.

Davros · 27/02/2016 23:54

Agreed. It was quite funny and scary

mrswhiplington · 28/02/2016 10:26

Didn't think it was going to be as funny as it was, laughed at one of them carrying somebody's legs on his shoulders.

I hope the next episodes are as good.

gingerboy1912 · 28/02/2016 13:58

Watching it now. I agree it's a bit scary but funny.

gingerboy1912 · 28/02/2016 14:14

I'm wondering if the whole thing is a set up and it's part of the 'experience' for the stag(groom) to think he's being hunted.

DrivingMissLazy1 · 28/02/2016 16:56

This better not have a crap ending.
I also liked the legs on his shoulders Grin

gingerboy1912 · 28/02/2016 17:02

Why did the mans credit card get declined at the pub. Did the bar staff cancel it on purpose?

NickiFury · 29/02/2016 10:38

I turned it off after five minutes, found it really Try Hard. Might give it another go on the basis of this thread.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/02/2016 20:29

I really enjoyed it :)

I didn't think card got declined. Just it was taking ages to go through /bad wifi /weather

I did wonder if was a joke and not really dead ..,,,,,,,,,

Been films like that before

April fools day

And one where he throws a huge party for his brother but people die and he shoots someone and thinks killed them so jumps his self off the building - but they know he will do that so falls into a big safety net mattress

Anyone know that film?

I can't wait for part 2

Blondes do you mean The Game? Love that film. Little known but really clever.

Watching Stag now on iPlayer- very macabre comedy.

The presence of Reece Shearsmith and the dark comedy element makes me think it could be written by the League of Gentlemen chaps.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2016 17:14

Well done coffee*. That's the one

I'm impressed you got it from my ramblings Grin

Fab film. Very clever !!!

So is stag the same?? All a game?

The legs really made me laugh

Just watched this on BBCi due to this thread. Really enjoyed it. Do agree it might be part of the " whole experience ". The comment about the Geography Teacher's salary cracked me up. " What does he earn"? Future Bil replies " £21,00". " is that a week or a month "? "No, a year " said the Bil. Priceless.

gingerboy1912 · 02/03/2016 21:14

GrinGrin yes there was lots of funny one liners.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/03/2016 23:43

Just seems funny deaths - being dragged away - shot - torn
Apart etc

Tho the one who fell down the hole could have been nasty if wasn't for his phone

Not sure how the legs managed to get stuffed in a rucksack

It made me think of the novel "be my enemy" by Christopher Brookmyre about a group of blokes paintballing somewhere remote in Scotland on a team building expedition who get cut off and all start being killed one by one.

CoffeeAndOranges · 03/03/2016 20:21

It kind of reminds me of a Comic Strip program with Rik, Ade etc where they were all businessmen on their way to a conference and one of them was sick all the time then they crashed the car and the tape got stuck on 'Gold' by Spandeau Ballet. They found a house in the middle of nowhere with Dawn French playing a bonkers woman. Absolute comedy genius.

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out!

Rollergirl1 · 03/03/2016 21:54

2rebecca: I've read that book and I thought exactly the same. Is also quite similar to another film called Severance about people being bumped off at a team building weekend. Has Danny Dyer in it. Actually quite good.

Does The Game have Michael Douglas in it?

I was wondering if the BIL isn't actually the BIL at all? Apparently he wasn't invited and no-one, not even the groom has actually met him before so he could easily not be who he says he is?

2rebecca · 03/03/2016 23:08

Also the Reece character might be still alive as the legs could belong to anyone and they just think it's him because of the wallet and he often plays psychos

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2016 23:08

Severence is good

And yes MICHEAL Douglas plays the brother - think other is sean penn??

The stag did meet the bil before and you saw /heard it talking to his sister

Tho it is always the quiet ones ...,,,,,

But still think it's a hoax

I saw that comic strip thing too. They're all maybe variations on Agatha Christie's 10 little nigger boys

2rebecca · 03/03/2016 23:10

I'm sure these days it has a more pc title

lizzydrippingsghost · 04/03/2016 18:39

i cant wait for the next episode , i wonder if the bride to be is in on it as she phoned her brother as said make sure nothing happens to future husband(sorry i cant remember any of their names)

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/03/2016 21:46

My money's on the Aussie latecomer, I bet he's behind the murders.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 05/03/2016 21:31

I loved the one with the moustache trying to navigate round the woods on foot with the satnav!
