Despite all the orange Sarah's is the best by far! So I suppose it could have been worse for Slummy.

I could not live in it, but that orange room actually looks incredible.

I really liked Frankie's mural - just a shame he didn't have time to finish it properly.

I don't understand their problem with white in rennie mackintosh scheme. Go see his house in Glasgow. The living room is almost entirely white!

I would have liked a close up of Lucy's fireplace,I couldn't quite work out what she'd done. Hated the soft toys but it looked exactly like the owners' taste And I don't get why white is such a bad thing, all the hotels I stay in are decorated in white Artex because they are Travelodges

I have to say Lucy should have gone.

What was so special about Lucy's fireplace?

That orange, with all the other colours in Slummy's room would give me a permanent headache, I'm afraid. And I don't like the sofas either - they don't look comfortable - they look like sofas you sit on rather than in, if you see what I mean.

But the decapitated soft toy hanging was beyond creepy - it said Psycopath Pre-School, to me - not hunting lodge!

I liked Frankie's room best, and I am gutted he went.

Slummy - I can't wait to hear your opinions on that orange - and can you tell us what your neighbours thought of their rooms? Is the trompe l'oeil wood paneling as shite as it looked? And did they burn the decapitated teddy hanging?

I'm sad to see Frankie go. No words for the soft toy thingy in Lucy's room. Slummy, you look gorgeous!

It was a trompe l'oeil fireplace screen.

I thought to be fair Lucy did the 'pretend' panelling quite well, though the room was too small for the darkness (better than upside down grey bricks though!) and the fireplace was clever. But the crazeee lady toy dog tapestry was OTT.

Oh dear poor Slummy!!! So much orange!!! Have you painted over it yet? Your dh could lie down on that sofa but he looked very uncomfortable sitting on it. Clever light up cycle though.

Aaaah I felt sorry for frankie, but he didn't organise his time properly , he was too ambitious and that room didn't look like the interior of a medieval cottage to me! That lighting was too modern. I reckon.
