Sad

Boo hiss.
Well I could do with watching less tv, but there really isn't anything left for me.

Trying to get into Gotham.

Homeland? I hate watching TV but managed to get through about 8 episodes of that which is a record for me.

LovelyFriend · 31/01/2016 00:57

I've not watched Homeland.
XP used to watch it on C4 and it never grabbed me, though he loved it.

Will put it on maybe list though, cheers.

Homeland - watched them all over a couple weeks
House of cards - watched them all over a couple of weeks
Making a murderer - watched all over a couple of nights
call the midwife - currently watching
Orange is the new black - funny
Breaking bad - obviously
Ru Paul's drag race - for when you need something quick and easy to watch
Beast of no nation - deep film!
Blackfish - v interesting documentary

On my to watch list is The fall but that's on Amazon prime...
Can you tell I'm breastfeeding!! Too much time to watch stuff - I used to hate watching series

Cirsium · 31/01/2016 01:12

Currently watching How I Met your Mother which makes good background tv while I craft/iron/i pad. While feeding newborn DD last year watched House (wished I hadn't watched any while pregnant as DD ended up in neonatal for a week) Mr Selfridge, Third Rock From the Sun, Peep Show and The Good Wife. Once Upon a Time is fluffy and gets a bit convoluted but also entertaining. DH and I watch Homeland together. Went off Orange is the New Black when every other scene seened to be a sex scene in the second series.

BagelfortheNewYear · 31/01/2016 01:23

Parks and Recreation - 1st season not great (so DD told me) but it really gets going after that and is fabulous.
Persons of Interest
Sense8 - DD says it's really good and thinks I'll like it.
Homeland - haven't watched the last 2 seasons but may go back to it - first seasons were very gripping.
ORPHAN BLACK - sorry for shouting Grin but you really have to see this! It's amazing and I don't know how it isn't a bigger hit - it's great.
Making a Murder - everyone's talking about it - I haven't watched yet but it's been getting v good reviews
Bloodline - pretty good, worth a look. I love Sissy Spacek and Sam Shepard so would watch anything with them in.
House of Cards - Definitely worth watching.

Is it just TV series you watch - lots of good films on there too!

LovelyFriend · 31/01/2016 10:05

Thanks there are a few in those lists I'll take a look at.

Are you list makers in the UK though as there are several shows I'm not recognising at all?

I've watched 2 episodes of Making of a Murdered but no desire to go further. Most of the other big hitters I've seen

Awaiting new House of Cards, Kimmy Schmidt etc later this year.

I've got us netflix via hola. I'm currently making my way through NCIS next will be CSI Miami.

There is so much more content on us netflix. They need to have the same content available regardless of what country you are in.

ScarletForYa · 31/01/2016 10:12

Weeds

LovelyFriend · 31/01/2016 10:13

Only have UK Netflix via by so u cant circumvent it. Sadly no Weeds.

I never got House - will take another look.
I've done all of Grays I think ( pre Netflix) apart from last couple of series but I don't think we have it in UK.

We got bored of netflix so have now switched to Nowtv, at the moment we are finding a lot better for tv series. It's 6.99 I think for the entertainment package, obviously you don't get films in that but we don't tend to watch them anyway.

JustAnotherYellowBelly · 31/01/2016 10:50

The first few of Orphan Black are not as good so keep going. And the blurb does it no justice:

calzone · 31/01/2016 10:52

I'm watching ForensicFiles which is awesome.

30 minutes each
Real life
Really interesting.

ProfYaffle · 31/01/2016 10:54

YY to Sense8 - really good.

PitPatKitKat · 31/01/2016 16:00

Master of None. It's so good I only let myself watch one episode a fortnight. I couldn't bear there being no more. Just perfect. I feel like when I finish the series all TV will suddenly and mysteriously end. It will ruin me for other TV.

UmbongoUnchained · 31/01/2016 16:02

Community!! It's the funniest thing I e ever watched.

Eachleechsparethumb · 31/01/2016 16:03

Once upon a time is great.

Savagebeauty · 31/01/2016 16:03
