Sad

Boo hiss.
Well I could do with watching less tv, but there really isn't anything left for me.

Trying to get into Gotham.

Breakout Kings is fun and amusing but don't think too hard about the timelines.
Un breakable kimmy Schmitt is funny. The first few episodes are the best though.

LBOCS2 · 31/01/2016 16:20

I'm working my way through Once Upon A Time on Netflix - it's quite entertaining but undemanding.

MrsSlocombesPussy · 31/01/2016 16:37

If you haven't seen it yet, try Deutschland 83 on Channel 4. I think the previous episodes are still available on demand.
It's very good, and captures the 80's very well, if you don't mind subtitles.

LovelyFriend · 01/02/2016 15:59

I am loving Deutschland 83 - best thing on TV ATM IMHO.

I have watched a lot of Community. The first couple of series were brilliant, but then it went all same/same as they started to run out of ideas and just did the same thing/different "theme" every episode.

Loved Kimmy S

Haven't heard of Breakout Kings will take a look

Once Upon a Time

American Horror Story I watched a couple of episodes but didn't really get into it. Plus I'm not big on horror. But lots of people loved it so I wanted to like it. Is it worth persisting.

I will recommend LILYHAMMER in case you've not seen it.

A contender for my fav Netflix show ever.

Jessica Jones is good, a Marvel spin off.

Marzipants · 01/02/2016 18:30

I've just watched the first two sessions of Brooklyn 99. It's rubbish, but in a good way. Though I am bf'ing the world's greediest baby so cannot be held responsible for poor viewing choices.

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 01/02/2016 19:02

I'm beside myself with excitement to have discovered that Third Rock From the Sun is on Netflix. A complete blast from the past for me.

colouringinagain · 01/02/2016 19:04

Have you seen The Killing? (not the US version)

ApocalypseNowt · 02/02/2016 09:06

If you like Breaking Bad you'd love Fargo. Series 1 is on netflix (UK) now.

mrsleomcgary · 02/02/2016 12:30

I'm so glad someone else has said Master of None,it's beyond good. I got through the whole series in 2 nights.

LovelyFriend · 02/02/2016 15:33

Loved both Fargo and The killing. (Scandinavia version). Didn't get into the U.S. Version of the Killing too much.

LovelyFriend · 02/02/2016 15:34

I'll take a look for Master of None thanks.

Brooklyn 99 - watched a couple. Leaf guy very annoying and not in an amusing (to me) way. I'll probably pop by there again sometime though.

I adored Jessica jones very much. Daredevil was ok. Waiting eagerly for Luke Cage.

PitPat good luck with your rationing programme Grin. I usually fail spectacularly at that.

Top of the lake, the returned, bloodline, Orphan Black, all good. I hated Sense 8 but forced myself to watch it to to end hoping it would get better.

PitPatKitKat · 02/02/2016 16:00

So do I usually Lovely. Watched the whole of Frankie and Grace one Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect Sunday tbf.

(Glad to meet a fellow fan mrsleo)

However, I am also rewatching the X-Files from the beginning on Prime, in anticipation of the new series beginning next week. So that helps.

OneofTHOSEWomen · 02/02/2016 16:04

HTGAWM also brilliant. Kimmy and Master of none, also good. Jessica Jones Ok. There are loads of things I've started watching but have given up on.

mrsleomcgary · 02/02/2016 17:51

I've just discovered a series called 'atelier'. It's Japanese and about a young woman who gets a job working for a lingerie designer. It's not brilliant and the Japanese style of acting is a bit different to what we're used to here (it's a bit 'overacted' iyswim) but it's a good way to kill an hour and the sort of series you can watch an episode, leave for a few weeks then watch another.

OneofTHOSEWomen · 02/02/2016 20:09

Oh and Bates Motel! I loved Norma Bates dysfunctional parenting style totally reminded me of my own
