Sad

Boo hiss.
Well I could do with watching less tv, but there really isn't anything left for me.

Trying to get into Gotham.

mrsl 'Atelier' is what I put on when I can't sleep :)

How to get away with Murder, fantastic. Perhaps I will watch that again as I screamed through it the first time. S2 was not on the 2016 release schedule :(

Have you watched Fringe

LovelyFriend · 02/02/2016 21:15

No not ever heard of Fringe.
Will take a look.

It's a similar sort of thing to X files and Lost

PrimalLass · 03/02/2016 00:31

Friday Night lights
I always say this the no one watches it Hmm

suzannecaravaggio · 03/02/2016 00:38

Maron (US I think)

tothesea · 03/02/2016 00:44

Exit through the Gift Shop...an unusual documentary..very funny. We are currently watching The Making of a Murderer one night and Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice on the other...it's an interesting combo!

mrsleomcgary · 03/02/2016 09:13

I always forget Friday Night Lights is on Netflix. It's my 3rd favourite tv series of all time (after The West Wing and Breaking Bad) and when I grow up I want to be Tami Taylor.

AnnPerkins · 03/02/2016 09:39

Is anyone else watching Spin on Walter Presents? (I'm up to episode 5 so no spoilers please.)

I love a political thriller and I've really enjoyed it.

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 03/02/2016 09:42

If you like Band of Brothers you should try Generation War. It's about WW2 from the German perspective and has a few of the people from Deutschland 83 in it.

I watched it over the weekend, it was awesome.

JarethTheGoblinKing · 03/02/2016 09:44

The Bridge (Swedish/Danish) better than The Killing IMO

Can't believe nobody's mentioned Sons of Anarchy. Takes a couple to get going, but it's so good.

Jessica Jones. Surprisingly good.

firesidechat · 03/02/2016 09:44

I loved sense8 and Orphan Black.

You do need to persevere through the first 2 or 3 episodes with both of them, but then you are totally hooked.

firesidechat · 03/02/2016 09:44

The Killing is amazing with a very satisfying ending.

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 03/02/2016 09:55

How could I forget Sense8?! I loved it, have watched it twice now.

Couldn't get into Orphan Black. I might have another go though.

PrimalLass · 03/02/2016 10:37

I grow up I want to be Tami Taylor.

I do get a bit confused with Tami Taylor and Rayna Jaymes, and have meshed them together in my brain. Like a musical version of FNL.

Afishcalledchips · 03/02/2016 11:51

Stuff we've liked

Breaking bad
Better call saul
Sense8 (very clever concept)
Lilyhammer (funny)
Marco Polo (there's also a short about 100 eyes, really worth watching)
Orange is the new black (easy brain not engaged type TV, a bit try hard though with the whole 'edgy lesbian' stuff)
The returned
Daredevil
Jessica Jones
Luther
Dusk 'till dawn (a bit cheesy though)
Fringe (mega cheesy, gets worse as it goes on but Walter is bloody brilliant)
Once upon a time (with the DC who are 8 and 10)
Merlin (also with DC)
Outnumbered (good 1st-4th series, gets a bit stale. Some hilarious moments though) - I don't really recommend watching this with DC as mine started to bloody on and on trying to be like the kids on the programme afterwards.

RedOnHerHedd · 03/02/2016 12:17

Dead Like Me is pretty good, me and DH are really enjoying it at the moment.

firesidechat · 03/02/2016 17:59

Just watched the first episode of Fringe. Really enjoyed it, so thanks for the recommendation.

RedOnHerHedd · 03/02/2016 18:12

Another vote for forensic files here, I loved watching them all! Hope they bring out season 3!

BettyOctopus · 03/02/2016 18:27

Spin is quite good on 4od

Alexcorn16 · 03/02/2016 19:30

Breaking bad !!! We're nearly at the end and was wondering what to watch next ... thinking either dexter or making a murderer Wine

mirrymir · 03/02/2016 20:19

Just watched Peaky Blinders S1 and 2 and loved it. Also recommend Community as a comedy.
