Corrie Thread - Shall we send the scriptwriters a link to Corriepedia so they remember important character facts?

Surely not much longer to wait now until the new producer starts? Things must improve, mustn't they?

Yes, 200k sounds ridiculous. I missed the whole story of her having left anything, tbh, until I heard it mentioned last night.

I think I remember Tracyluv not getting anything, but I don't remember how much Deirdre left. I think I'd remember if it was 200k tho..

Not sure how the insurance could have paid out £200k. With such a heavy smoker the premiums would have been £££'s. Tracey wanted £10k that Robert was short of Nick's asking price. Ken said he loaned Leanne some of Simon's money and she raised the rest herself. IIRC Peter paid her for her share of the bookies which I think she invested in the Bistro. She got a settlement from Nick when they divorced.

There is nowhere else for Tracyluv to go. It would be quite a novelty if we saw some redeeming features.

Haven't watched last few episodes as can't be bothered with the same old rehash of Tracy vs Carla but if I'm reading this correctly Deidre left her money to all the grandkids but not a penny to her own daughter, Ken or Peter?Confused . What about Ken's other grandchild, didn't his dead daughter - Peter's long forgotten twin - have a child as well? All the storylines are so poorly thought out.

Agree re. Zeedan, his facial expressions when he looks at the girl he is supposed to fancy have gone from lovesick to contorted and weird.

Ken also had the grandchild that conned Sophie out of €20k and then beat Ken up but I can see why he didn't get anything!

Yes Mike Baldwin is his dad.

The ne'er do well con artist who beat Ken up was actually his long lost son. To go along with the other son he had with Denise (a hairdresser I think?)
Again, they are never mentioned!

No he was his long lost son's son! Because remember the son was homophobic and the grandson was gay. So Ken was supporting the grandson.

He is his son irl though.

One thing that I had forgotten about was Tracyluv's kidney transplant from Deidre's then boyfriend.
I wonder if they will remember that for a gripping storyline at some point

No Ken's two real life sons played the son and grandson. So Linus Roache was the long lost son and then the other Roache son was Linus Roache's character's son.

The fuck was going on with Liz's eyebrows tonight? Along with the eyeshadow, it somehow added up to the impression that she'd taped strips of mouse fur to her head, as if she was in a Horrible Histories sketch.

I was too Shock at Liz's red boots and mini skirt to notice her eyebrows!

That conversation between Eva, Billy and the girl was obviously not written by the same scriptwriter who wrote the first conversation Eva had with her. All the stuff about being kept prisoner etc Eva already knew - all she'd not been told was that it was the O'Driscolls - but she was reacting to everything like it was the first she knew about it Confused.
