The drug thing was stupid. It's supposed to be a hard pub if the off chance a weak woman comes in asking for drugs you may get away with it. But surely 99% of time the drug seeker would be more likely to turn up with a few mates and sort you out.

When Izzy said she'd just put Jake down, I was a bit that someone would do that just before the child's non-resident dad arrived for his tea! And that Gary didn't bat an eyelid or say he would just pop in to see him!

I think the writers buggered off to the pub about a year ago and never came back.

What a bloody cop out to escape dealing with the you know, actual realism of a small child clamouring about while you're trying to cook a spag Bol for five (with extra oregano ) and excited about seeing his dad.... At about 6pm in the evening....

I actually think it would be better if this were true.

right now, every story line is more or less the same and could be ended by someone simply telling someone something.

Carla and Tracy, Carla tells Nick, story over
Izzy and pain, Izzy tells Gary, problems start sorting
Anna and Phelan, Anna tells everyone what happened, Phelans power is gone.
Eva and the "Slave" girl, Eva calls the police, Slave girl is housed, safe etc.
Ches and Sinead, Ches is a bit jealous, tells Sinead, she reassure him and no problem.

But obviously no one is allowed to use common sense and would rather be blackmailed, tortured and abused etc.

I was so desperately bored by the factory scenes tonight. It was like somebody telling you in minute detail about a tedious and entirely inconsequential day at work. Shuuut uuuuuuuuuup.

So place your bets - who gets the bistro?

Tough call smalllegs will it be Leanne and will she woulnt she lose someone's inheritance when it goes tits up or will we have Tracey gloating that's she now made it and 90% straight bocotte it....,,

Please don't make it Leanne and legoman with a furious vengeful Tracey across the street. Leanne has had enough rubbish men to last a lifetime but legoman does seem to have a soft spot. He could be Simon's new, new, new dad.

When is the new team coming in? I hope there won't be any big changes between now and then (other than those necessitated by actors leaving).

Bistro should stay Nick's, but please no more musical beds. Love triangles can be interesting, but the Nick/Leanne/Peter/Carla quartet had been done to death, so adding Robert really isn't interesting.

Maybe Leanne and Nick could get back together - he was lovely with Simon.

Quick query. Why did Deidre leave money to non blood relative Simon? Why didn't all her estate go to Ken?

Is Zeedan supposed to be interested in that new girl because whenever he is near her he seems to just scowl and look at her like he can't stand her!?
Also HOW are his chef whites so white?? He obv doesn't do much cooking back there.

I only half watched some of last night, so I'm not sure how much Deirdre left to Simon? Is this the first time it has been mentioned that she left something to him, and did she leave money to Amy too?

I wouldn't have thought she had very much money, tbh.

I have just caught up. it's getting virtually impossible to watch. Tracyluv is just awful, the same thing over and over.

I skipped most episodes this week. I can't take any more. When Tracyluv came knocking on Carla's door last night, I just thought oh FFS, here we go again.

YY exactly. There's only so much sneering and bitchy comments you can take before being very .
We know Tracyluv is supposed to be very bitchy and unlikeable and does nothing else at all but every single episode? Gone from unlikeable to unbelievable. Not convinced the actress is very good either.

There isn't a single story I'm interested in now but I'm still watching, I think because of habit and goodwill. The writers are really scraping the barrel with the Sinead modelling story.

Kate Oates starts next month.

I wonder why Eva had to get Simon from football. If it is at a distance she would have had to get the bus, but Ken has a car, and if it was nearer surely he could come back on his own. Also how did Leanne get a loan so quickly? Nothing seems to be thought through.

I believe when it came out they did say it was an insurance policy left in trust between Simon and Amy.

She would also have had a pension (probably an ok one between working for council and medical centre)

But I thought it was more like 50000 each (which for insurance and pension would be believable)

So Deirdre left 200k to be split between the two grandkids?
