I'm also glad they showed the reality of the situation. There should be more funding to deal with these sorts of illnesses. Separating mothers and babies at such a crucial time is terrible.

Martin has stopped being drippy and awful in my eyes. I quite like the character now.

I hope Lily's dad coming back doesn't mean a tedious custody battle though.

Martin has really grown on me. Felt so sorry for him tonight, he looked distraught that he couldn't keep the promise he made Stacey. Lacey Turner should definitely get an award for this, she's doing a brilliant job, shame they make Stacey such a po faced cow the rest of the time.

Surely they aren't going to go down a custody route?!

Do feel sorry for Paul and Ben. It's only because of Phil that Ben is too afraid to come out. I bet he would be a lot happier.

I have had to drink half a bottle of Jack Daniels to watch that episode . DD2 has watched it with me and I have had to explain what happened to me and her - she got upset when Arthur was taken away and asked 'did they take me away from you mummy?' I have had to explain we were lucky and we stayed together but I don't remember the first year of her life. Which had made her sad.

DD is 24 has global delay and autism so everything is black and white.

I have explained I am so much better now and her mummy always loved her

Just watched it in tears.

Cannot believe they can separate a breastfeeding baby from its mother, so sad. Sadly not surprised by the lack of care for PPP mums

Im.watching it on BBC 3. Heart breaking. I also didn't think they could separate a breast feeding mother from her baby.
She definitely deseves an Oscar.

I think maybe he would be at risk because of her psychosis. I know she wants to protect him but there could be a risk when a mother is very poorly.

I know I'm nit picking but did Martin ever get put on Arthur's birth cert? It's just without being named on this and that him and Stacey aren't married, would he be given any parental responsibilities and be allowed to take Arthur home?

I think they would outweigh the risk to the mother, she'll probably need a lot of meds. The baby won't die if he doesn't get breast milk but the risk to the mother would be far greater unmediated. Also what if "God" had told Stacey to protect Arthur she must kill him?

It's so very very sad.

Would like to have seen Stacey crying with engorgement and milk leaking everywhere and being brought a breast pump. So painful when your boobs are full of milk.

I agree Lacey deserves an award. Although I don't understand how Danny Dyer won best actor at the NTAs over Rakhee/Shabnam and the stillbirth storyline. Maybe coz it's voted for by the public.

I can't remember exactly. I think it was because of the Archie murder storyline. Wasn't that when Stacey and Bradley got back together? Ryan was a wrong un anyway. He was married to Janine and never really interested in his daughter. I'm guessing that will all be forgotten now he's back.

All I can remember of Ryan was the ridiculous Janine storyline about them betting with each other to do increasingly cruel things to people in order to get out of washing up, while the filthy piles of dishes grew and grew.

The inclusion and then obvious avoidance of Charles funeral was really annoying. They should have just had Kat heading off to the funeral and then coming back to the Vic. To have her go through the whole daft debacle of staying behind for Stacey and then hanging around in the Vic whilst she was running into the street and then hiding at Shabnums and not even being there to see her off to the hospital was daft. If supporting Stacey was so important that she missed her dad's funeral over it then why wasn't she actually supporting her instead of downing drinks at the Vic.
