I don't like Abi much but I have sympathy for her as she was pretty much abandoned my all her family at a delicate age and is pretty scared. She used to be feisty & ahem "bright.

Abby knows, which is why she stares Paul out every time she sees him.

I always thought they whole Ben/Abby relationship was weird. She was going out with Jay for ages now you see the three of them hanging out together, going off to the cinema together and all living under the same roof. Maybe Abby will take after her Nan and go and live on the allotment when Ben runs off with Paul

Abi really is the most irritating character ever. She's so weak and completely oblivious to the whole Ben thing. I wonder if Jay's big storyline will involve getting back with Abi. I hope not.

Tamwar is the comic relief most of the time, but with the whole conversion storyline they might be making him more serious.

Oh yeah Tamwar has a very dry wit. Yeah the whole conversion storyline is leading somewhere.

John Bardon, who played Jim Branning, was very funny indeed. Apparently the writers used to love writing for him.

Yes tamwar is very funny. So is Masood and I we are seeing some funnyness coming from Nancy too which I hope they develop. She has great comic timing and I laughed when Shirley and Babe and buster were having the Nancy running the pub argument and she tried to say "no one has asked me" and then shrugged and made a "clearly your not going to either" comment and mini flounce.

Anyone remember when Tamwar and Jane were sneaking off and doing stand-up comedy gigs?

Donna has a quick wit; I don't think we see enough of her

The Tamwar and Jane stand-up was AWFUL. I can only imagine both actors had expressed an interest in moving on to comedy and it was meant to showcase their amazing talents (it didn't). EE does dry wit quite well but I think they could use another Heather for full-on upbeat comedy value (in her George Michael moments, not so much her seducing Darren Miller in the toilet moments).

The woman who plays Anna in Corrie is on Loose Woman and has just said that Kyle's female friend is her daughter.

I think she said the daughter (Kyle's female friend who looks a bit like Stacey) has been introduced but will be go back into it in a later story.
