It was very rude. Maybe your server doesn't want you to be corrupted nickel Grin

Nickel45 · 30/01/2016 21:42

Damn! Blush

Ilovelblue · 30/01/2016 21:56

Nickel and pixie I couldn't view it either.

Back home again tonight. It was freezing cold this afternoon at the National Trust property - my eyes and nose never stopped running! We had sleet and hail on the way back too. My friend never stops talking and sometimes I feel like saying "Just shut up!" as sometimes she spouts drivel and/or asks very off the wall questions which throw me totally so with that and my cold, I feel totally worn out.

Glad the party went well Nickel!

Hope everyone who met up in London had a good day and safe trip home for those travelling tonight.

Evening all.

Well am tucked up in bed at this time which is early for me. I think I've finished with drinking to last me another year. Feel not too bad now just tired. Had a lovely Italian meal. DH is fast asleep now. He only had two drinks suppose he has been driving me round all afternoon and he felt like going to sleep!

Can't wait to wake up without the noise of kids banging around or jumping on beds!

Yes London has been quiet hasnt it? I wonder if TG turned up?

Thanks Jen. Really hope you feel much better soon.

MaddieMoo82 · 30/01/2016 23:11

Ahhhh kelly glad you have enjoyed your day and hope you enjoy your peaceful morning!
ilove hope you get some rest and warm up soon!
Glad you survived the party nickel

MaddieMoo82 · 31/01/2016 01:32

  1. So I'm sitting here watching the International Rugby 7s and I'm watching Canada play Kenya and my evil mind ticks over. How about an expansion to our menu? As well as low slung combats, thighs, swords and kilts, how about some leopard skins and assegais? Some of those Kenyan rugby players look very appealing, particularly in the shiny black thigh department and we ARE going to be spending a lot of viewing time in Kenya. Might as well get familiar with the locals, so to speak.
  1. Tony Grounds and his sidekick, him with that terrible tea cosy on his bonce, are brilliant at playing head games, teasing all us meno (and pre) pausal OG fanatics with hints and long drawn out silences. I reckon they've known they're on a winner ever since all these pro Cap'n James sites stared up. They and the Beeb would be mad not to have BA along for the ride in Kenya, and they know it!
Ilovelblue · 31/01/2016 08:18

Morning all. Bucketing it down yet again. Think I deserve a lie-in after my hectic weekend and it's not fit to be in the garden though I might venture into the greenhouse later.

Did anyone see James Norton on with Jonathan Ross last night? He was very entertaining.

Sorry kuia but that doesn't appeal to me. It's military uniforms all the way for me, preferably with BA/CJ inside them.😊

pixieg1rl · 31/01/2016 08:25

I saw that the Kenyans were doing well kuia, although today might be the end of their run.

I have mixed feelings about how well they will portray Kenya in South Africa. It's a shame they aren't filming there but I understand the reasons.

icemistOBE · 31/01/2016 08:40

Morning. Had a great day yesterday. Was lovely to meet aspara, bk and rich (again) **

Thanks to Lola for the autograph! It's added to my secret stash Wink

Again, it was like meeting friends you haven't seen in ages. Planning another trip to Bath ( I won't be going) but plans are also being made to attend a certain carol concert in December (pretty sure I will be going then)

Morning all. Glad you had a good time ice! Yep think that carol service will have a record attendance this year Wink

Raining here again so settled down to watch the tennis whilst DS repeatedly tries to pull the curtains down Hmm

Richtea19 · 31/01/2016 09:17

Morning all, so glad you had a good night ice, hangover this morning????

Not sure I could blag a meet in Bath but yes def the carol concert!

Off to a wedding today.. Not really looking forward to it, mainly because it's a Sunday and I've got work tomorrow. It's one of DHs work colleagues so won't know many people either. Hey ho another day of drinking!

icemistOBE · 31/01/2016 09:28

No hangover rich! Think we did so much laughing and chatting we didn't drink loads. Am very tired though.

And look what I got

Gosh Richtea you have had a busy weekend!

apsara03 · 31/01/2016 11:01

Lovely to meet you all too. On train back home to deal with aftermath of burst pipe and DH having had no sleep as by the time the emergency plumber had finished DS1 was up and awake. Not had the greatest amount of sleep myself though thankfully no hangover, so going to snooze to OG soundtrack for my last few hours of freedom. Definitely up for Bath Grin

Richtea19 · 31/01/2016 13:05

What a nightmare aspara! Hope it all gets sorted. It was lovely to meet you and out a face to a name!!!

ilove it's been a madly busy weekend and I can only think I will suffer this week by being extra tired. It's a themed wedding! Gatsby. DH looks like his going to a funeral with a black tie and I'm wearing sequins! I bought a beaded hair band but I've ditched that as I look about 12 yrs old!

apsara03 · 31/01/2016 14:16

Thanks richtea back home now. Fortunately nothing damaged apart from the pipe itself which was under lounge. Just rather large bill as happened in the middle of the night hopefully will be to claim some on insurance - job for tomorrow. About to take DS2 to panto rehearsal (my little BA) and DS1 swimming so DH can get some sleep as he got no sleep as noise woke DS1 up whose been up since 330

apsara03 · 31/01/2016 14:55

Didn't mean to cross you out richtea sorry

Nickel45 · 31/01/2016 15:02

Sounds like you had fun :-) What did you do in the afternoon? Weren't there's various plans? What did you think of London ice? Was it your first visit?

I've just dumped kids at various parties and am sitting down more half hour. Feels like the first time this weekend!!!

Nickel45 · 31/01/2016 15:03

For - not more! Can't type on my phone!

moojangles · 31/01/2016 15:17

I feel your pain aspara, still have lump of plasterboard covering the hole in our ceiling-no probs with insurance.
Looks and sounds the meet-up was brilliant. Think I'll book a dog sitter as soon as next date agreed!
nickel, you Essex bound at all at half term?

pixieg1rl · 31/01/2016 16:41
