This just got proper weird.

Don't know how I forgot about the baby swap!

How many times have Alfie and Kat had the "lets be honest with each other from now on"...followed by one or the other keeping a horrible secret (usually Alfie). I think he'll try to tell her, then when he hears about Uncle Charlie and Kat's long lost son, he'll chicken out as per usual. Will they kill him off though? Kat n Alfie seem to be their go to characters when they are running low on storylines.

I'm starting to think eastenders needs a big, multi character killing event

Yeah I know kush is defo the dad but was just pondering if the truth will be revealed to everyone, like bonnie Langford or kush might blurt it out.

I think Kat chooses to shriek her lines. I remember an interview where she said that the "yes I am" response to the 'you're not my mother' thing was meant to be whispered but she decided to scream it instead. Obviously she figures it worked for her once so now shrieks all her lines.

Such an odd couple of episodes.
Quiet babies, long lost brothers ( sister) ghosts, shabnam finally hearing the truth. Charlie dying. Alfie lying, again..stacey really losing it.
Its too much!

It's a bit like they sat in a room and the person in charge told the writing team to blurt out as many ideas as they could in 5 minutes, and then used every single one of them

I need a Lie down after all that. There was double Emmerdale too tonight. So. Much. Soapy soap!

I wonder why these episodes weren't the Christmas day or new years days ones? They could have swapped that with the Denny car crash.

I am thankful they didn't run Shabnam not knowing for months on end.

Me too snowy. The Emmerdale paternity storyline last for fucking ever so there's 2 cleared up on the same night. Soap.watching is exhausting.

I do like the Tam and Nancy storyline running in the background. They are such a lovely couple and I think it's nice they are getting some starring moments for themselves rather than attached to others big storylines. I wish they'd give them more though - both excellent actors IMO.
