Denise has also forgotten that she was hitting Patrick! That was a totally ludicrous one line plot.

I really could not give a rats arse about the slaters, the unsolved mysteries etc. However ronnie should be told she killed fatboy, Christine should come back and writers should focus on actual stories rather than long drawn out mysteries that no one gives a shit about.

Carmel does need to fuck off. I can't stand Bonnie Langford. My DH booked us tickets for a musical once, not knowing she was the lead. It was excruciating!

All Eastenders storylines seem to involve weeks, sometimes months of build up, a good episode, couple of mediocre cool down episodes, then subject is forgotten forever.

Forgot all about Denise hitting Patrick. A proper elder abuse storyline would be interesting. I also thought she might be alcoholic, but massive wine consumption seems quite common on the square.

Denise's abandoned backstory includes alcohol induced rage, violence, thieving and shagging Fatboy.

I think Denise hitting Patrick was kind of dealt with when Kim moved in/found out and the burden was shared. It was certainly discovered and talked about between them so wasn't just forgotten

Was she actually hitting him or just being rough when man handling him? I can't remember.

I remember Kim seeing Patrick's bruises on his arms.

I also thought she might be alcoholic

I thought they were heading that way with martian Martin. There was a period where every scene was him either talking about drinking, about to go out drinking, actually drinking or explaining how he was injured while drinking.

It's always bugged me how wrong the casting was for Mo and Charlie Slater. She's supposed to be his mother-in-law yet in real life she's 70 and he's 82!

Personally I thought hat episode was uninteresting - but I didn't watch it properly. What were Nancy and Tam discussing re her epilepsy?

Isn't Stacey's flat a two bed so how come Kat Alfie and 3 kids can just stay over. So 4 adults and 5 kids in the smallest flat be Bearly enough room them to all sit on living room floor.

Does anyone else just think of Buster as Brushstrokes? I don't even remember anything about that show except him painting a wall during the end credits. Yet he will always be Brushstrokes to me.
