I loved Cold Feet. I thought it was brilliantly written.
Sex in the city...that was airing just as my marriage was breaking down, so found it a good distraction.
Ally Mcbeal.
Holby city...the first series. Loved that. Never watched it for decades now.

Dallas...the early ones before it got silly.
The waltons...good comforting, home spun family values.
Auf wierdesen pet
Bergerac...I'm sure I could catch up with it somewhere
The vicar of dibley
Oh and the early Robin Hood. The one with Jason Connery in and Clannad singing ' robin...the hooded man' . It all ended rather abruptly as if there was going to be another series and there wasn't.

I'm sure there's more.

Spooks
This life
Drop the dead donkey
Gavin & Stacey/Men Behaving Badly - although I think they were of their time so probably best that they are not still on

So many - but I think like music TV reflects where you are in your life. I'm sure there are equally good shows on now that I'm not watching

Destinysdaughter · 17/12/2015 10:20

Friends!

Sex and The City

Thirtysomething ( can't even get a box set of it, I'd love to watch it again!)

Destinysdaughter · 17/12/2015 10:22

Yes to Drop the Dead Donkey! Think they could bring it back, would be fascinating to see it in a modern setting.

Destinysdaughter · 17/12/2015 10:23

Loved Starsky and Hutch too but only with David Soul and Paul Glaser.

stitchglitched · 17/12/2015 10:25

Frasier. I watch the box set constantly.
Father Ted
Friends

stitchglitched · 17/12/2015 10:27

Also Diagnosis Murder, wish they'd make more!

WhoKn0wsWhereTheMistletoes · 17/12/2015 10:27

ER for me. I did like the Vicar of Dibley too.

I also miss Corrie, I've more or less given up this year as it's so shit now, I long for the old days when I was hooked on it.

There are a lot listed here that I couldn't stand though!

Daffydil · 17/12/2015 10:30

Buffy
Spooks
ER

Seeyounearertime · 17/12/2015 10:57

Due South
American Gothic

littlewoollypervert · 17/12/2015 11:02

Blake's 7. I'm sure if I re-watched it wouldn't live up to my memories though. My mum had a Servalan haircut.

OliviaDunham · 17/12/2015 11:06

Stitch I loved Diagnosis Murder too. I've mainly given up on TV to be honest and binge watch box sets on Netflix. I missed the entire last series of Wentworth though so have to get hold of that.

BobandKate0 · 17/12/2015 11:16

Bonekickers - so bad it was really good fun.
Cully and Joyce in midsomer murders.
Lovejoy - i'm surprised they haven't remade it with Aiden Turner perhaps.
Pie in the Sky - again lots of scope for a prequel - perhaps Samuel West as PC Henry Crabb obsessed with finding good food in the 1970's.

tuilamum · 17/12/2015 11:20

The old Being Human, never watched the new stuff
Pre-Matt Smith Doctor Who
Leverage - so wish they'd made more even though the ending was perfect
Friends

Destinysdaughter · 17/12/2015 11:25

Ooh Lovejoy with Aiden Turner? Now that would be a massive hit! Xmas Grin

LadyCassandra · 17/12/2015 11:25

Being Human
Survivors (it ended with Max Beesley sneaking onto a plane, then they axed it!)
Love Friends but it's on so often, and it ended at a good time, so don't really miss it!

ScrappyMalloy · 17/12/2015 11:27

Survivors (the remake) Cut off in its prime. I always wondered what happened on the island, and whether the main character found her son.

ScrappyMalloy · 17/12/2015 11:27

Fantastic cross-post Grin

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 17/12/2015 11:29

ER... I watch it on DVD all the time and always feel so sad that I'll never watch a new one!

PersonalClown · 17/12/2015 11:34

Yes to ER. I have the boxset and still watch it all regularly.
I already miss CSI. Both Vegas and New York.
Men Behaving Badly Blush. It was crude, rude and vile and I laughed my arse off at it.

Bolshybookworm · 17/12/2015 11:35

The fades, brilliant supernatural series on BBC 3 (of all places). They only did one series then axed it, I was gutted.

YY to American gothic, loved it. Also, my so called life, this life, the X files, twin peaks.

But tragic, but I was enjoying Whitechapel before they axed it Blush

And I would give my right eye for parks and rec to come back to the BBC.

UmbongoUnchained · 17/12/2015 11:37

I miss ER so much I feel physical pain.

Tagetes · 17/12/2015 11:41

The West Wing. I reckon they could have got another 7 series out of Matt Santos.

OliviaDunham · 17/12/2015 11:43

I have SATC, Ally McBeal and My So Called Life box sets, all well watched.

NerrSnerr · 17/12/2015 11:44

House
Friends
30 Rock
Ballykissangel

PersonalClown · 17/12/2015 11:49

Forgot Dinnerladies. Loved it.

I wanted to name DS Caleb after American Gothic. I'm still pissed that I got bullied into letting it go as his sperm donor father's family wanted irish names only.
