These show dances are not doing it for me - I've just watched Darren Gough & Lillia's on YouTube to cheer myself up (back in the days when someone who'd never danced before could win)

Did kellie go wrong at the end of that? Or was Kevin just far too exuberant at the end? I couldn't quite tell! Sounds like it'll be another 40 from the judges though

Show dances should always be Latin based imo.

Latin dances are by nature 'showy'. It's the very essence of the South American feel good/let's have fun and enjoy ourselves vibe. Compare it to the 'stiff upper lip style of ballroom'. The 2 styles can't compete when it comes to show dancing imo.

Well in this case, in comparison Fid I think a really good Lindy Hop has enough impact to become a show dance.

I'm not sure if in another year it would.

Now I LOVE lindyhop - that wasn't a lindyhop.

Her timing was off and the lifts were clumsy. I found it really dull.

The only thing that was A-MA-ZING, is the complete fog in front of the judges eyes.
