I didn't notice anything particularly glittery Confused

I thought the prisoners were having their hats (I'm so sorry, I've no idea if they have a name) returned to them - like a symbol of their faith being given back?

Loving loving loving Quinn's work last night.
Thinking back to when I lost blood after DS makes me even more impressed Grin - I made walking to the loo look harder than even he did last night! Deffo wasn't in any fit state to be murdering terrorist insurgents whilst my milk came in Grin

Qwertybynature · 16/11/2015 21:09

That would make so much more sense Thursday. I love the idea that they'd all sit around crafting though.

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/11/2015 21:12

Yes me too qwerty.
Rehabilitation by way of craft workshops

Just watched last night's episode.

I knew the creeping stranger had to be Muslim as Quinn has to have his faith restored and what better way than your enemy rescue you from the bin scrap heap and nurse you back to health. Was a little shocked Quinn killed the jihadist wannabe by punching out his throat Shock.

So annoyed by Journo someone buy her a comb, Carrie's trembling lip, Hair and Dar what a dumbass

It felt strange to watch it in light of recent events in Paris.

Howaboutthisone · 16/11/2015 21:50

Just caught up.
I totally agree about those post it notes! Also Hair and her eavesdropping!
I totally thought that During was in with the Russians and that he had positioned Carrie for the first attempt on her life. I'm still undecided.
Quinn surviving that fight- phew! Surprising but phew!

Qwertybynature · 16/11/2015 22:02

cocolepew Grin death by cucumber. Quinn could have saved himself from a nasty gash on the arm if only he'd seen this.

PseudoBadger · 16/11/2015 22:04

Coco Grin I really need a cat to try that on - how weird! some of them were courgettes

oneowlgirl · 16/11/2015 22:08

Just watched last nights episode - I enjoyed it & glad Quinn is ok but can't believe that Saul hasn't realised that hair is a double agent.

Loving Dr Tony Smile

HoomanBean · 16/11/2015 22:30

Saul is quite unlikeable this season.

Cocolepew · 16/11/2015 22:31

A cucumber is like the big blade of the vegetable world. A courgette? More flick knife.

Cocolepew · 16/11/2015 22:32

It does help to suspend believe while watching Homeland I find.

Lweji · 16/11/2015 22:33

I have the cat, but sadly no cucumbers at home.
It will have to wait for my return from sunnier climates. Which means Homeland will too. Sad

TheSpottedZebra · 16/11/2015 22:38

Ooh are you away, Lweji?

That cat video Shock. I have both cats and cucumber and I want to try it. But my cats are 15 now, and I don't think I could do that to them. One has a heart murmur and the other has arthritis, so neither suitable for sharing so they catapult into the air, alas.

UnGoogleable · 16/11/2015 22:44

I think the whole point of the Quinn storyline was that he had become a cold blooded killer, no faith in humanity, no compassion and probably hated muslims as 'the enemy'.

So a group of muslim men show him compassion, literally give him blood, and restore his faith. Hey presto, a more human side to Quinn emerges.

But yeah, clumsy writing indeed.

Lweji · 16/11/2015 22:48

i will be away.

I don't know about the more humane side of Quinn.
He is an agent and he has just found a way in a terrorist group...

Howaboutthisone · 17/11/2015 06:31

Yes- it will be interesting to see how 'humane' he is when Dr tony gets caught up in the inevitable raid.

AmberFool · 17/11/2015 17:50

ungoogleable said human though, not humane, which is different.

UnGoogleable · 17/11/2015 19:08

Hmm maybe not 'humane', he is still a trained killing machine after all. But more 'human' in that he will see the good in people, perhaps...

Ah I dunno. He was hot when he went into fighting mode though not so hot when he was shuffling about with his bottle o' piss

GypsyFl0ss · 17/11/2015 19:31

I have cats. I volunteer them for scaring by cucumber experiments.

TheOldestCat · 17/11/2015 21:21

I have a cat and a cucumber. And I love Homeland (and hate Hair). Can I join?

AtiaoftheJulii · 17/11/2015 21:25

You've ticked every box Cat! The only question is, Quinn: hot or not?

TheSpottedZebra · 17/11/2015 21:41

The answer to the Quinn question is of course that he looks like a surly, angry, cucumber - loving weasel. In a good way.

The important question that you must answer - and remember, you ARE picking a team here, Oldest,is Saul - good, or evil? Hmmm? HMMMMM? ?

Can I join? Have obligatory cat, cucumber, have always loved Homeland (although think they should have left it at the Brodie storyline), hate Hair, love Quinn and...Saul is good!

Dar on the other hand scares the shit out of me! He is evil.
