Just seen that the first "celebs" have arrived in Australia. Kieron Dyer and Jorgie Porter apparently. Isn't she the one who was on Celeb First Dates recently?

Series starts a week today!

Kate! Yes I agree about the careers.

ALaughAMinute · 25/11/2015 22:01

More arguments tomorrow if they don't get anything to eat!

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 22:01

I do want Vicky to win. She is showing herself to be a great camp leader - even if that involves defending the indefensible.

I hope we have calm in camp tomorrow because I find it so hard to listen to arguments and shouting. My life has been so quiet for 14 years Grin The dog never answers back!

Fairylea · 25/11/2015 22:02

I am not sure they're hungry enough to worry about going without food for one night. If I were them I wouldn't show lady c I was bothered at all whatever she did, she wants the attention.

LucilleBluth · 25/11/2015 22:03

I think that Tony and Duncan are incredibly patronising and dismissive of her because she's an older woman.

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 22:03

Oh no .... I forgot we have to have foodgate tomorrow. That will be even worse than soupgate that Lady C caused.

I need to find a darkened room to hide in by 9pm tomorrow...................

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 22:07

I think that Tony and Duncan held their tongues for long enough out of respect for Lady C. But respect must be earned, achieved and retained with compassion, empathy and understanding of others.

She called Tony a 'bird brain'.

Lady C has no decorum at all.

katemiddletonsothermum · 25/11/2015 22:16

Voting for Lady C to "do a challenge" is like a wedding: the triumph of hope over experience.

ENtertainmentAppreciated · 25/11/2015 22:19

Sheesh it was worse than a bad day in the playground there and from people who are way old enough to know better. So many people have gone way down in my estimation.

Only Kieron, Vicky and George are floating my boat, but I fully admit a lot of Lady C's insults made me laugh out loud and were spot on.
How can someone who's known for being on Geordie Shore come across as one of the most fair, sensible, entertaining and likable people in there? That's a revelation.

The person in there who I absolutely cannot stand and would rather confine myself to one of the coffin trials rather than spend time with, is Duncan and his amazing Just For Men syrup. I'm surprised it didn't get a starring role in the Pet Shop. I've never liked him at all though, so at least he hasn't shocked my system.

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 22:19

Grin katemiddletonsothermum

You always make me laugh!

DorynownotFloundering · 25/11/2015 22:22

" I think that Tony and Duncan are incredibly patronising and dismissive of her because she's an older woman"

I disagree- they've all been giving her a lot of respect because of her age but as *sadwidow" says it has to be earned, and male or female the tirade of foul mouthed vitriol & insults that has been spat out of her mouth is unnacceptable, regardless of what she thinks of her camp mates.

DorynownotFloundering · 25/11/2015 22:23

............and to be fair to the git Duncan is the same age as Lady C!

sadwidow28 · 25/11/2015 22:26

I'll never forget when Joanna Bannatyne opened her own gym:

Dragon Duncan's ex-wife opens new gym near Bannatyne health club

She actually placed an advertising board on the opposite side of the road - positioned opposite to the Bannatyne drive. It really WAS in your face as you drove out of Bannatyne's!

CakeNinja · 25/11/2015 23:00

Just caught up. Cba to go into the argument other than to say Lady C would not be on my Christmas card list this year (if I sent them. And if I knew her).
Really like Vicky, nice to see the 2 newcomers have been pretty much welcomed into the group and not treated as outsiders like they often have been in previous years.
I'm surprised at how well she's come across.

DorynownotFloundering · 25/11/2015 23:04

Agree Cake Vicky is coming over as very nice -champion in fact!

I like the fact she chose George as her deputy tonight, hope we see more of him he's a sweetie

And Fearne , god love her, is this years squealer but she's a trier & that last challenge was a nasty bugger!

noclueses · 25/11/2015 23:31

Pirate, I think you misunderstood - he meant it with the reference to her title 'Lady' meaning that a titled lady is supposed to have perfect manners which includes no name-calling people or shouting - he didn't mean 'not feminine'. Of course lots of aristocratic women swear as hell but the name calling is not usually on (esp Lady C's favourites like 'tossers' and 'jerks' - applied to men and women).

Agree JOrgie has been annoyingly baby-ish, but she is still sweet.

noclueses · 25/11/2015 23:37

everyone is dissing Duncan, yet everyone's favourite Vicky likes him and even fancies him a bit (not seriously but still - they were happy as a team), I think he's on the rough side in his approach but not all bad.

TheSilveryPussycat · 25/11/2015 23:41

Have recorded yesterday's and today's but cba to watch. But what did Aldi do in their ad? and is it worth FFwding to find and watch?

DorynownotFloundering · 26/11/2015 00:00

Silvery it was a spoof of the John Lewis Man on the Moon ad. Cheeky!!!

clever!

DeepBlueLake · 26/11/2015 07:45

I really liked Ferne in the last challenge, she gave it her all despite being out of her comfort zone.

Not sure where I stand on the arguments, Lady C was out of line with those comments to Tony and Duncan (and I am no fan of the man) but Brian had it coming him. I also don't think Jorgie asked for more work.

And jeez I did not think Yvette had it in her!

Am sick to death of Brian calling everything a 'bitch'.

Am very happy about Vicky being camp leader.

PirateSmile · 26/11/2015 07:49

noclueses I really don't think I misunderstand. I think Duncan has firm ideas on how 'ladies' titled or otherwise should behave and doesn't like women who spak their minds.
Tony, Duncan et al knew how provocative they were being when they refused the task. Then they don't like the reaction where Lady C didn't hold back on her views of them. She'll refuse to do the task and get hailed over the coals for that, but how is she any different to the pair who wouldn't wait on for her?
I hated the efforts Duncan made to try to isolate Lady C, Chris and Keiron. Keiron bless him knew something was wrong and couldn't really work out what was happening which is awhile he became very upset and confused and wanted to leave. Chris doesn't take anything personally and Lady C, who knew exactly what was happening stood her ground and have them all both barrels, which they then again tried to use against her. Duncan is an extremely vile person.

BastardGoDarkly · 26/11/2015 08:00

It was a lovely atmosphere when they came back to camp though, they'd had a great night away, why did she have to start on everyone?

PirateSmile · 26/11/2015 08:09

I probably didn't watch it closely enough to make that observation Darkly Admittedly, I only ever have one eye on it but from what I could gather, what did the others expect from the three who went to to the hotel? I also think that some people are only nice to Duncan because they think he's very wealthy.

BastardGoDarkly · 26/11/2015 09:46

I wonder just how wealthy, will this 10 million fraud bill skint him?

findingmyfeet12 · 26/11/2015 09:52

I wonder what comments are being made by others that we don't get to see because of clever editing.

Lady C is being made into a pantomime villain. She probably is a nightmare but editing has also played its part.
