Ian closes his restaurant for a couple of hundred quid and R&R's is closed up and empty of an evening Confused. The salon can afford to be empty for a few days until Billy puts the stuff back (under the cover of night, even though dean knows who did it Confused). Why does Ronnie even have the keys to R&R , I thought she didn't work there after she shagged Vincent !

nancy75 · 13/11/2015 14:37

I think I might get in the kids cupboard and see if I can come out with a new size 10 body in time for Christmas!

£35 for a blow dry is sadly not all that pricey for London

Sharon will be pleased when she see's what Ronnie has done to her bar

notquitehuman · 13/11/2015 15:48

I thought £35 was pretty low. That's what I pay in the suburbs of London for a haircut. I suppose Walford is a bit away from the centre though. I get obsessed with details such as Eastenders pricing. When they showed the price list at the cocktail bar I paused it and thought "hmm, ok I guess 8-9 for a cocktail is realistic".

I don't think they'll go radical with Nancy. She's not going to end up being the next Jihadi Jane or whatever that crazy ISIS lady is called.

HouseOfMouse · 13/11/2015 16:58

I dunno. £35 is the starting price for a blow dry at Jo Hansford's, i.e. top salon in Mayfair. Surely you'd expect to pay significantly less in an unfashionable part of the East End.

BlueThursday · 13/11/2015 18:05

At least the honey who's come back is the original and not under crazy circumstances i.e. Not resurected from the dead

CFSsucks · 13/11/2015 20:32

rockabilly nope I think it's a huge overreaction too. Shirley is Micks mum, after everything that's happened it nice that they are getting along. You can see how much it means to both of them. Shirls face lights up (and that is some achievement given her usual expression).

The80sweregreat · 13/11/2015 20:52

I can see Lindas POV on this actually, Shirley was never that friendly to her and took Deans side straight away too. Tough call for Mick though, but his wife should come first.
Jihadi Nancy! This is EE though, so anything is possible i guess.
Tam is cool. I do like his more deadpan approach to life.

notquitehuman · 13/11/2015 21:05

I'd be pretty pissed in Linda's shoes. Her BIL raped her, and MIL called her a liar, making out they'd had an affair and that Linda had cried rape to cover her back. How would you ever forgive someone for saying those things about you?

ChipsandGuac · 13/11/2015 21:12

I'm not in the UK and watch it online. Was it on tonight or is it just Children in need?

southeastdweller · 13/11/2015 21:56

No episode tonight because of Children in Need.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2015 22:27

Wife or mother. Hard decision esp as much didn't know Shirley was his mum

And now does Shirley believe mick over dean? Or are they playing happy families ignoring the fact that dean raped Linda

Must be hard for a mum to be split over her children like that

Ronnie is incredibly thick really. Stealing roxys purse and hiding phone in it

Yah for honey. Tho she is still dappy

So les had their daughter

Who had gbp and ronnies baby and amy?

When Syed and Christian were together, Christian showed a lot of interest in Islam, asked questions, even went to the mosque on his own. Syed was way more religious than Tamwar but even then Christian's curiosity was short-lives maybe coz the writers had all the family disapproval stuff to deal with. I think they'll go further with exploring religion with Nancy.

SoupDragon · 14/11/2015 10:07

I can't help thinking that Nancy is an unlikely convert. She doesn't seem to have any kind of spiritual belief.

SheHasAWildHeart · 14/11/2015 22:45

Did anyone else see EE cast dancing on Children in Need?

MagpieCursedTea · 14/11/2015 23:23

I only caught the end Sad is it online anywhere?

Jasonandyawegunorts · 15/11/2015 14:31

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b06ply52/bbc-children-in-need-2015-the-best-bits

At about 19 minutes in.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 17/11/2015 13:09

Why was Les at billy's?

Has he been there since the cross dressing thing with Pam?

SpangleDragon · 17/11/2015 13:33

Maybe Nancy is an ideal convert, as she is 'missing' something, a belief

(total atheist here in case that matters)

SheHasAWildHeart · 17/11/2015 14:22

Pam said she couldn't cope with Les cross dressing so he said he'd leave so at least she could be in her own home.
I think Nancy has always been a bit 'lost', am sure she was about to get married when she was 16, then she has all the stuff with her mum and brother to deal with, plus her epilepsy, and on the other hand she has her calm, stable & supportive boyfriend. So far the storyline is being handled slowly and in a mature way. I was worried though that Elaine would catch her reading on the stairs and start her unnecessary ranting.

Pyjamaramadrama · 18/11/2015 11:24

Ronnie/Roxy stuff is getting weird.

SoupDragon · 18/11/2015 11:27

What did Ronnie say to Dean after she said "that will be the drugs I put in your drink"?

Pyjamaramadrama · 18/11/2015 11:30

She said she thought she'd stirred them but obviously not.

Does anyone know where they're going with this? Spoilers on ds have confused me.

CFSsucks · 18/11/2015 11:31

The Ronnie/Roxy stuff is boring. FFS we know you are sisters, stop bloody telling us every single episode. I don't think I ever say to my sisters "you're my sister" it would be weird as I am presuming they already knew that.

I don't think Ronnie said anything, I thought she just smiled at him. Surely he hasn't actually drunk enough though, it looked pretty full to me.

What did Tam give Nancy in that gift bag? I missed that bit.

CFSsucks · 18/11/2015 11:32

Oh yes, she did talk about stirring them. I think at first Dean didn't believe she had but when she talking about stirring them in, he realised she was serious.

CFSsucks · 18/11/2015 11:33

pyjama I'm assuming this isn't going to go anywhere as Dean is leaving but as far as I am aware, Ronnie has nothing to do with it. I could be wrong though. I've seen the circumstances of his leaving.
