The 18th?!! 18th?!! That has upset me more than I care to admit. I thought it would be Monday.

Oh I know SmellTheGlove (slightly weird user name there ) It's a load of something that Doctors is off so long & all the other crap soaps, which I don't watch, are hyped to the max over Christmas.

A month off does seem excessive as they'll have time off for Wimbledon and summer too!

No offence taken!( It's a Spinal Tap quote as it happens, but is somewhat unpleasant out of context). I had to break the news that Doctors not back til the 18th to my mother as well today. She was equally distraught. It's just plain cruel. I might write to the BBC. And maybe my MP.

I am liking Father Brown back on in the afternoons but this antique thing with Fern Britton is soul destroying :(

I haven't seen the Antique thing & only Monday's Father Brown (the tv movie one/casting director gets murdered) Is it worth watching Fern for so bad it's good? not like Doctors, oh no

I like Father Brown- it's very easy to watch. But the antiques thing is dreadful,(Fern is a terribly wooden presenter) and not even that new. There was a very similar programme hosted by Sandi Toksvig years ago. I like Sandi, but as a presenter she is no great. She will ruin 'Q.I'

I'm desperate to get back to normal. But the 18th is a good day- it's also the start of the Aussi open (tennis) and my mum's birhday

This week has been Eastenders overload- so many story lines in one week!

I don;t watch it regularly but I sometimes go on Catch up to see if there's a episode I like the look of with GobbyPlod in it with any interesting storylines.

I've watched a couple of Father Brown's (but I keep expecting him to say "Today I am mostly being a priest detective" )

So glad it is back on Monday. It has been an eternity.

I am not looking forward to the new Practice Manager starting. He is not TBFE and I am still holding a grudge on behalf of Mrs T.
