Thought about mentioning Halloween Hell in the title but it's a Sunday morning and some of us may be feeling delicate enough.

I think Katie gets under marked in the Latin dances. Yes, she wasn't that great last night but there was no way she was down at the level of Carol and Ainsley.

I loved the comment earlier in the thread that Peter Andre danced as he always does - like a horse

I thought Anita was undermarked. James Jordan on Twitter said it looked like Anton went wrong and not Katie. Jamelia was overmarked as was Ainslie. Kirsty is getting better - how annoying! She is going to be in the bottom two with someone worse than her and she will be saved . Can anyone explain what was going on in Kellie's routine? Bruno has been quite rude to the contestants the whole series. Loved Darcey's constructive criticism and Jay's routine - wonder why he didn't have a cape?

I wondered why Anton didn't actually TEACH Katie to use her hips in that dance. (She's basically a good dancer) she must be able to do that, but I noticed she's has a very straight body, surely Anton was to blame to allow her to be 'straight'?

Is he too proud to ask an expert to help him I wonder?

Thanks for the new thread. I also find Tess unbearably cringy. She's so patronising and wooden, why on earth can't whoever decides these things realise just how awful she is? I mean I'm sure she's perfectly nice (although actually I've just remembered a friend of mine being unimpressed when she met her) but she's just rubbish at her job.

I would be perfectly happy if the show consisted of just the dancing and then judges' comments and marks. I love Claudia but see no real need for the whole Clauditorium bit - takes the judges about 2 seconds to decide on a mark.

Bruno is rapidly becoming a caricature of himself. If he must flail around as he does could he not sit on his own somewhere? I'm constantly expecting Len to get whacked in the face, or even Darcy, such is the exuberance of the flailing. It's no wonder Bruno is so slight - the number of calories he must use up with all that windmilling and jumping up and down. Actually - perhaps I could lose a bit of weight myself if I adopt a similar technique ...

ppeatfruit don't forget they only have a few days to teach each dance. They need to have the choreography nailed by Friday morning so that they can go into rehearsa in the studio.

Believe me, I've taught salsa in the past and if someone is very stiff of hip it can be very very hard to reach them to loosen up.

I've just re-watched last night on catch up and they have cut out all of Brunos comments to Jay and Aliona.

Also, I don't quite know how to explain this, but PA and his partner seem to have no connection, it's not a couple dancing together and in tune with each other iyswim, I know there is criticism that Jay and Aliona have too much connection but I disagree they seem to dance as one and for each other whereas that is not the case with PA and Janette. Others that seem to have a good connection are Anita and Gleb, Georgia and Giovanni, and even some of the not so good dancers have a mutual connection with their partners.

I think Anita and Georgia are regularly undermarked.

Embarrassingly I am joining the swooning over Gleb club, thought he looked great in the 'Wild Boys" dance and was very funny and playful in the pottery clip in movie week.

I am still recovering from the massacre of a Duran Duran song last week.

I don't think any of the male dancers are doing it for me this year, or the slebs. I will stick with Lee Mead.

Sparklingbrook - the Duran Duran Wild Boys Pop video is probably my all time favourite pop video.

My sister tells me Duran Duran are reuniting and doing a tour soon, I'm hoping she can get tickets as I'd love to go.

Rio for me emotions.

I thought long and hard about getting tickets for November but I decided that Duran Duran had to stay in the 80s for me. I can still be a teenager and they can be in their 20s.

Rio is why I was always desperate to go to Antigua... I now have a time share villa there. no sign of 1980s John Taylor though :(

I watched the Rio video just this week-it's really quite ridiculous when you scrutinise it.

So the time thing got me and I'm an hour ahead/behind/inbetween. Am watching Countryfile which is featuring some sad-looking horses.

DS is in the same boat Sparkling, the same crisis was averted last night with all the delays at the F1.

No, DS reports that it's dry and some teams are starting on intermediate tyres.

Hurry up Worlds Longest Day

We can't get the F1 live so are probably going to be idiots and watch the highlights at 10:30 tonight. I'm just fastforwarding to Q3 in today's qualifying highlights so DH and I can watch it once he's got DD1 in bed. No spoilers!

Will be interesting to see who goes out tonight went out last night. I can't pick it because the ones who did the worst have a good fanbase - apart from Ainsley, perhaps? - and the ones without a decent fanbase did better.

Hope it's a decent prod dance tonight; I wasn't impressed with last week's.
