Thought about mentioning Halloween Hell in the title but it's a Sunday morning and some of us may be feeling delicate enough.

Strictly I remember that and I'd love to know which of the male pros didn't come up to her exacting standards!

Yes she did her "pretend" happy face and her real happy face for Tess when she got the one she wanted ! honestly now I am going on about her I'm beginning to feel sorry for her she is her own worst enemy! but that remark just annoyed me as they are all good dancers and could teach her plenty of moves.

I've just watched yesterday's show on catch up.

With respect to who goes, I do think that it tends not to matter who goes in the early weeks as the right people end up going even if it's perhaps not in the order you expect. By the last weeks, the right people get down to the proper competition.

Its hard not to get drawn in and take the show more seriously than it deserves. I did laugh out when the bottom two couples were about to dance and Brendan did an eloquent speech, Tess turns to Tristran "any advice for Jamelia?" and Tristran says "no".

I do think that Jamelia is going to be in the dance off every week now until the judges send her home. She doesn't have the fan base of Carol, Katie and Jeremy nor the dancing skills of the others.

Anitas maleficent dance was my favourite this week was very good i think voters are voting for pasha now who can blame them- carol is just rubbish. She should have gone before ainsley Imo. Cant tell if Kirsty was gutted or it was her make up.

the thing with Jamelia is I think a lot of people have no idea who she is.
I don't know the girl(sorry but she looks so young) from CS but she is good..
with the not so good ones I think people tend to vote for people they "know" or like\

I think people vote for Jeremy because he's fun and Carol because they like her. It must be horrid for Jamelia to know people simply aren't voting for her.

This is really only the third Strictly I've watched from the start. They seem to have the No Hopers, the Try Hards and Contenders. As I said, you only seem to end up with Contenders in the last weeks, perhaps with a surprise Try Hard who has blossomed but the No Hopers all fall by the wayside eventually.

Kelly, Jay, Anita, Georgia and Helen seem to be this year's Contenders (I may have missed one). PA is a potential Contender but he doesn't seem to have lived up to what I expected.

omg I hate Kelly.....she makes me feel so old. I remeber her when she was in the upper hand!!

Agree SD, Jeremy has a big R2 following but also he's having such a blast, working hard but not taking himself too seriously, makes him v likeable. Carol is lovely but needs to go.

Can't work out what it is about Jamelia that irritates me but she does!!

Jax, not sure IRL but Georgia joined Corrie about 5 years ago playing a 16 yo, so she can 't be very old.

MrsJayy, I have been known to vote for Pasha rather than his partners (not this year yet though).

There are several I'd never heard of this year (Jay, Kelly, Helen, Antony) plus several whose names I'd heard of but hadn't ever seen/heard (Jeremy, Carol, Jamelia), a higher proportion than usual.

There's a fair number of viewers who will apparently vote for the bottom pair regardless, and sometimes it is true that the middle is a dangerous place to be. Sometimes it's even possible for a reasonably popular dancer to get in the bottom 2 because their voters genuininely thought they were safe. But one shot in the dance off wil galvanise your fans to vote for you in future if you have any, and Jamelia clearly doesn't - it's a bit sad to see her realise this so frankly.

It must be a double kick in the teeth for both her and Kirsty - they can't dance (when they might expect to be good at it) and nobody likes them.

If Carol can survive that disaster, she can survive anything. She's dreadful. Can't dance, not trying to dance, no personality. She's riding the wave of Pasha's personality. Jamelia hasn't got the benefit of a popular partner so she'll keep being in the dance off until she comes up against that random moment when one of the top couples finds themselves in the bottom two
so the judges can bin her.

Kirsty didn't take it well did she? normally they are fairly humble when it comes to getting voted off, but she looked 'what me, when others are so bad/' attitude. I think its Brendan people don't like either, he hasn't done well since he won with Natasha K first series. He seems a bit fake to me, but I am not that keen on him anyway.
I thought most of the dances were a bit dull this week , what with Kelly on the table, I thought she was going to fall off!

Dont blame you for voting for pasha not only is he bloody lovely but he is 1 of the best pro dancers l, ooo the upper hand i loved that joe Mcgann what happened to him

I think the record for surviving the dance off is 4 dance offs by Heather Small. Jamelia could easily beat that if Jeremy and Carol end up in the dance off with her. I'm not sure that's a record she wants though.

I really dont think Jamellia is that bad her jive was ok on saturday she is trying hard i just think people dont like her I really thought it would be Kirsty and Carol Kirsty to go.

I'm not surprised that jamelia keeps being in the bottom for the dance off, fat shaming women on loose women will always mean she's unpopular. I wouldn't vote for her even though her comments didn't affect me, I was still offended. I think she's realising that it's,mostly women that watch and vote. And she annoys me as she's the only contestant on the opening credits who doesn't use her surname.

As an aside I also find peter Andre annoying an example of this was in a vt of the backstage going ons showing him offering a prayer up in a busy corridor before they went on. I loved how one of the broadsheet newspapers described him in the line up as a 'frozen food ambassador'.

To be fair, this week I think there were several contenders in the Dreadful category. The, ahem, least competent dancers all seemed to have a bad dance. Except for Jeremy who covered it by being an actual zombie :) genius!

Yes Kirsty's frowny makeup didn't help. I couldn't tell if she was close to tears or if it was the makeup. I think one of her problems was that she doesn't know when to stop talking and being intense about herself. This didn't endear people to her.

I think Carol and Jeremy are still in because they don't take themselves too seriously. They are triers and pretty natural with it.

Kirsty does take herself far to serious.

Did anyone notice at the end when all the dancers were in a huddle hugging each other, PA was just on the edge and didn't really seem part of the group. I did feel sorry for him then. But in a way I'm glad he's not as good as everyone expected because it would have made the show all about him and luckily there are the likes on Anita and Jay to make the show more spectacular this year.
And it was SOOOO good to see Pasha do that 'chess' dance!

I didn't warm to kirsty when I watched an early episode of it takes two and whilst on the sofa talking to.zoe she kept doing lots of hair flicking and constantly smoothing it down with her hands. It could have been nerves but it looked vain because she was also looking at the camera when she did it.

I.do feel a bit sorry for those that have full on day jobs and how that affects the amount of time they get to practice, along with fitting in all those stupid vts. And the raising your profile appearances on it takes two etc. Does jay actually have a proper job in the week?
