Can you put the photos of the children on the computer Kelly? After all, you see them everyday and you need to stare at photos of CJ to see you through.

Lovely shot Nickel. Hope you're having a nice time.

Bit disappointed when I got home tonight as it doesn't look as if BA has delivered any chocolates. :(

KellyHb · 26/10/2015 20:27

Yeah if I get a chance to put the kids pics on the computer I will pix. Do you feel better tonight?

I don't know if this is interesting or not but I looked on the OG Facebook site and there's a story on there by Cultbox and it talks about films to watch before OG returns. Anyhow it also mentions that there's going to be a guest writer for S2 from the Army for the BBC called Major Ben Simmons. Unless he's working with TG? He might be a military advisor. It then says it's going to be all new cast in a new setting etc but to me thats different to what TG wants when he said the plan was to get CJ and 2 section back?

Who knows really. All conjecture I suppose until we get solid intel.

pixieg1rl · 26/10/2015 20:46

Ooh, good Intel Kelly, quite frankly the film choices are pretty woeful. I mean, no Mrs Miniver? (My favourite war film). I'm sure I could have come with a way to tenuously link it to OG.

Has anyone been watching the Lucy Worsley documentaries on romantic novels? I loved them, the last one did a bit of a reinactment of Maurice and one of them was a dead ringer for that bloke from Granchester.

Did you say pix that you like the War film Hope and Glory?

pixieg1rl · 26/10/2015 22:13

I do, Kelly. It's an excellent film

KellyHb · 26/10/2015 22:19

Yes! A fellow fan. Smile I used to watch that film so many times on my school holidays. I cried every time I watched it. The poor girl with pigtails whose parents were killed in the Blitz. I felt so sorry for her.

Loved the main boys grandma and grandad. The film had lovely music throughout I remember. I could do with watching it again, its been a while.

Ilovelblue · 26/10/2015 23:26

Interesting article Kelly, just had a look. Tried googling Major Ben Simmons but nothing came up other than some Australian sports star. I'm fairly ambivalent towards MK (and quite happy to give her a chance) but have to say the photo of her in that article isn't great. Has she actually combed her hair that morning do we think?

Panic stations at Ilove Towers tonight. I invited some friends round this Thursday but either I forgot which date we'd eventually decided on or they've got it wrong. Didn't like to say anything when they said they were looking forward to Tuesday. Eeeeek. Fortunately, I had taken the meat out of the freezer this morning intending to cook it tonight (one of those things that's best left to infuse for a couple of days once you've cooked it anyway) so just had to rustle up the pudding. The kitchen looks a complete tip now. I am a messy cook, always have been.

Just had a look on athe Cadbury thread for any further suggestions for the Milk Tray man. Some people are getting quite steamed up about it, saying it's sexist and outdated. It's very amusing to flick through. Jamie Dornan gets quite a few nominations as does Daniel Craig. Who is it on here who likes Tom Hardy (who also gets a few mentions)? Is it you Richtea? I didn't think a film star would necessarily lower himself to do an advert then I thought of George Clooney and his Nespresso advert, Arnie Schwarzenegger and Warburtons and now Nicole Kidman and Compare the Market. Surely it would be much better to catapult BA to instant stardom than Daniel Craig who already has a big share of the heart throb market.

icemistOBE · 27/10/2015 07:45

Morning. Back to work today.

Love the comments on the Milk Tray thread- clearly have not got a romance/ability to appreciate the finer things of the male species. Tis all a bit of fun...HmmWink

Read those articles on cult box. He's a military adviser, contradicts the BBC press release which states 2 section will be back though.... Confused

Have narrowed down my choice of shots for my OG/BA calendar to 30. Need to reduce further now over next couple of weeks. Too many to chose from Grin

Morning all.

Really dark clouds this morning. Think it'll be a day of rain.

Hope your DS is feeling better this morning ice. Has there been a BBC press release about 2 section returning? I think I've only seen TG's tweet saying it was part of his plan?

icemistOBE · 27/10/2015 08:19

He's much better now. And mum is over to spoil them both

BBC - Michelle Keegan to lead new series of BBC One’s Our Girl - Media Centree_

KellyHb · 27/10/2015 08:39

Thanks ice I must've read that one before but couldn't remember a two section mention. I would think CJ would be back too imo.

LT's statement at the bottom always interests me where it says she wouldn't be able to go through this series. To me it reads like she could be open for maybe a S3 (if there is one).

Didn't the FB ladies say that TG was favouriting lots of tweets about a S3 ice?

orphan · 27/10/2015 12:12

kelly I'm feeling really party pooper about the new series at the moment. However hard I try not that I've tried that hard I just can't summon up enthusiasm for Tangotits. For me, OG is CJ and MD. That's why the ff is so wonderful as it keeps them alive.

Family outing to see Spectre tonight. I really hope Tom Hardy's the next Bond. Daniel Craig is starting to look rather grandad like, on the Radios Times cover anyway. I'm expecting to have to brace myself for any bedroom scenes - I always wonder how the Bond girls stop themselves from using his ears as handles during any particularly energetic sessions.Confused

KellyHb · 27/10/2015 12:32

Hi orph yeah I've just realised you'll have a week's holiday this week. Smile
How's things going with Mr PE Pommel Horse?

Ditto orph re: S2. They were OG to me but I can only hope BA in this series, we'll see something of Molly and maybe S3...Hopefully BA will love the CJ/ Molly characters enough to want to come back.

I really want to see Spectre if I can lay my hands on a babysitter anywhere Hmm TH would be a great candidate. I like Henry Cahill (ever since he was in The Tudors).

cjwoofwoof · 27/10/2015 13:22

Afternoon!! Sorry been AWOL for a couple of days. Been on a secret SAS undercover mission in the Welsh mountains on a Middle Aged Menopausal Women's Who Dares Wins Foxy Challenge. Don't need to tell you who won obvs, but 48 hours of no Radio 2, Galaxy chocolate or talking about the weather was bloody hard I can tell you. Thank God I had my trusty wolf fleece for the camp out in the Pontypridd Lidl car park, and I was first pushing in and jostling the blue rinse brigade when the reduced labelled fruit and veg was wheeled out. Foxy and Ant were particularly impressed by my ingenious use of my muffin top for storage of extra packs of cut price runner beans, so much so that I was allowed full use of their meat and two veg and very large pop up tent as an added accompaniment to a very satisfying feast. My age-defying ability to keep them both busy all night washing up I think is ultimately what swung the trophy for me Grin

orphan · 27/10/2015 14:13

kelly tbh Mr LetsGetPhysical probably needs this halfterm to repair his pommel horse. The last one to one we had during morning break put it under serious strain. Actually, my roving eye closely followed by my hands has now wandered to another member of the PE dept, the blonde surfer type one. He's a bit less cocky, in attitude anyway. Wink

Glad to see you still have your competitive streak woof. (Once you've set your eyes on the prize, your hands and teeth quickly follow.) Yet another trophy to tie to your bed. Oops sorry, I mean add to your cabinet.

orphan · 27/10/2015 14:26

I do wish they'd dub Ant's voice though. The Peter Andre timbre doesn't say SAS to me.

cjwoofwoof · 27/10/2015 14:47

To be fair orph there wasn't much talking once the tents were up. Plus the balaclava and goggles they made me put on meant I didn't have to see Ant's overdone tatts either., or vice versa come to that

orphan · 27/10/2015 15:28

Hope you helped with the erection woof. Of the tents that is.

KellyHb · 27/10/2015 15:33

Just watched yesterday's episode of SAS. Ovaries. Exploding. Everywhere. Foxy indeed. Grin

Ilovelblue · 27/10/2015 15:42

Had to laugh. Just sent a letter out to a Mrs Aldridge in Bath. I think I am getting OG and RL mixed up to be honest. Mind you, it's been like that for months now!

cjwoofwoof · 27/10/2015 15:43

Tents erected themselves orph once Foxy and Ant clapped eyes on the amount of muffin I was packing in my Bergen back pocket
