Evening all.

Had a lovely time. The RAF band were fantastic. A few 40's tunes were played: We'll meet again etc and a few people in the crowd were crying to: 'The Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square' I was imagining a 1940s CJ and Molly dancing slowly to it. It reminded me of your story rhu. Some great music was played from Battle of Britain film too.

The only looker I could see was the guy on electric guitar. Not quite CJ but with his dress uniform on, dark hair etc he was quite yummy.

But guess who was the narrator of the evening: the guy who does the Lottery balls and voice of Strictly! He's called Alan Deddicoat and he sounds exactly the same as on TV. I was expecting him to say 'Dancing the Tango, welcome to the floor Anita and Gleb!

Sorry you didn't get to see your band pix I really hope you feel better tomorrow. You'll have to look forward to your break away coming soon.

I've just voted for BA too. I've got an unopened box of Milk Tray in the kitchen. I wonder if he's in training for his audition and delivered them while I was out.

I watched Downton live too Rhubarb and thought it utter rubbish. I know how it's supposed to show how times are changing for working classes and the aristocracy but I had to laugh about them opening the Abbey to the plebs for charity and all the fuss. Highclere where it's filmed are total moneygrabbers.

Downton was so boring! It really has become a victim of its own success. They should have finished it 2 series ago.

Morning! Why is it that after a really late night and too much drink, I always wake up early? I know I'll flag by early afternoon and be fit for nothing except a delivery from BA as the Milktray Man except he'll secretly have Montezuma stuffed down his trousers as I can't stand Milktray. Anyway I've used the time profitably in catching up with the thread.

And finally, yes,yes to dear Rupert in Homeland with his tanned oh so yummy cheekbones and his nose which seems to have caught the sun a little too much. He's been keeping me busy showing me his special under the bed cover moves and I can report he is just as focused and expert as he is in the series.

For me, the only good bit of Downton is the costumes. Though I enjoyed spotting a few scenes supposedly in the village which I recognised as Bampton in Oxfordshire.

If any of you see BA today when he's delivering his chocolates, tell him there's no need for him to break in to my house: my neighbour has a key. He can do the ironing at the same time if he wants.

Morning all, whatever happened to Downton? After watchalong nights I put Downton on after but it didn't really hold my attention and I would bimble about. Last night I sat and watched what utter drivel. It's playinf for the American market but they've moved on as Downton wins no awards now.
Shame it's definitely run its course.

I don't suppose BA would go so far as potty training while he's doing a choccie stop off? Its our half term here and am spending all week stuck in with the kids while I try and get the boys done and dusted with the potty. I think they're getting worse not better so cue lots of wet patches everywhere

I must be in the minority of people who've never watched an episode of downton before - doesn't sound like it's worth starting now!!

kelly it will all come together with the potty training, I was losing the will to live with DS when all of a sudden it just seemed to click with him a few weeks ago. Thank god I will never have to potty train again!!!

Hope your little one is feeling better soon ice. Sometimes it's just a matter of calpol and lots of cuddles from mummy. I find those days really hard work, so maybe play a game of guess the handsome soldier later on.

I hope things improve potty wise soon Kelly. My son hasn't pissed himself for 3 whole weeks, so I'm hoping we've reached a turning point in the process.

Way, way behind, but finally caught up with ff last night (well, early hours of this morning?). SPO, Lola, Whaj, Jen, Rhu and Kel thank you all, you have really spoiled us this weekend :)

It's nice and sunny here, so we are off to find some water - beach, reservoir, see where the mood takes us .... Or more accurately, see where the driver takes us ... kids want beach, parents want reservoir ... Wonder who will win! Me, I just want coffee and cake!!!!

Just watched Reign episode 3 at last. Treble ditto on the wastage of BA on that. Sometimes it seems like a parody of a historical drama with the acting so wooden. Although I think Craig Parker who plays Narcisse pretty dreamy.

I wonder if BA might feature later in Reign somewhere as that pic was posted of him sitting with the lady who plays Elizabeth unless they were just chatting and 2 episodes were being filmed simultaneously as she wasn't in episode 3.

Good luck with the potty training kelly. I'm dreading this, thankful that I've got a while to go yet.

Popped into town to try and get DS some warmer clothes. He is a May baby and I feel slightly bad that I don't possess anymore warm stuff. He needed feeding whilst I was shopping so stopped in a cafe and he decided this was the right time to try out his new front teeth on my boob. Cue a few tears and curses from me and giggles from him

Commiserations on the boob bite mads. I wish breast feeding worked for me but in reality mine were all very hungry babies plus the pain of trying was horrific.

pixie hope you are all on the mend and ice hope little one is getting better too.

Sort of productive first day of holidays. I had my grey roots covered by hairdresser only to proceed to cover my hair in white paint as doing DSs bedroom. I'm rubbishy at decorating. I always think it will be easier than it looks. Catching up with the Vikings in between coats drying.

Judgment day. My mobile has ran out of photo memory space. Its either delete CJ/Molly/OG pics or ones of family?

Good on you decorating rich. I'm dying to start painting my twins' room but at the rate we get jobs done in the house, it'll definitely be next year.
