Seriously, very good performance by the ABs. The whole country will go a bit tits-up for about a month now. Grown men will cry, about 90% of the newspapers for the next week will be about the game and there will be at least five reruns a day on national TV. We are a nation of obsessives about sport.
The Black Caps have a three Test series in Aussie now and the next mission is to beat them at cricket, too.
Did you notice Willie Apiata was there at the medal ceremony, VC and all? Perhaps CJ and Molly would do well being seconded to our Army, heaps of hero worship available, fresh start and I don't think our lot are too fussy about inter-rank relationships.Could make a good chapter for my ff...which I must get back to now we've helped the team win the RWC.
