Have to say I'm a little bit underwhelmed in general this week. The costumes etc are great but the dancing has been a little bit below par.

Hope Georgia's going to be good. I really like her.

I love a bit of Scissor Sisters, but not after it's been murdered by Dave Archer and his band.

If Carole's in the dance off anyone will beat her. So I think she'll be the one to go if the public don't save her again.

Well I'm back from congratulating all the Blacks particularly Daniel and Nonu but it's all a bit of a thigh blur now and should admit to commiserating with a few of the Aussies too as I have to show a bit of impartiality when it comes to cuppage distribution. They all agreed that my impartiality was indeed a lot more thorough than orphs back in 2011.

Just home in time to feast on Gleb for another week despite the lank hairdo and the very silly pigtail in the rehearsals. Hope BA doesn't get any ideas on hairstyles from Gleb

All is not well at Ilove Towers. Shoulder has virtually seized up today so if the consultant's view still stands, it looks as if an operation might be on the cards. Really not one to whinge as a rule (we ladies just get on with it, don't we) but it is bloody painful and I'm feeling very fed up!

Watched SCD but not a fan of the Hallowe'en week. Never really like the costumes or make up.

There is a way of finding out ahead of Sunday night who goes in the dance off, but wouldn't like to spoil it for you if you enjoy the surprise.

Peeved I missed SCD watch-a-long but was trick or treating longer than I thought and called in at my neighbour's house who wanted to see DD dressed up. She had Strictly on in the background while we were chatting so missed the first ten minutes and then after that I was putting DD to bed.

Of the bits I saw I thought Kellie, Georgia and Helen were good. Sean looked like the proud boyfriend in the audience. I did enjoy Anita's but I thought the judges were more critical of them this week. And yes definate King Antoine comparisons when seeing Gleb.

DD's bag is absolutely bursting with sweets she got tonight. Either she's helped herself and taken big handfuls from people or they've been generous giving sweets out.

While taking DD trick or treating tonight round where my friend lives, I noticed a tall man standing behind me as his child went to a door. He had curly hair and a tanned face although it was quite dark at this point. He said hello to my friend and walked away. Apparently my friend said it was the boy I used to fancy at school. He was gorgeous in those days. I didn't recognise him as it was dark but if I had, it would've been nice to have had a chat. It's funny how you happen to bump into people that you knew years ago.

Had a quick Twitter search and can't see any BA Halloween pics or anything.

I think woof I've mentioned before my ridiculously small hands which of course can be a drawback when it comes to Cuppage, impartial or otherwise. However, I'm happy to have discovered that my new Halloween hands enable a far better spread so to speak. And they're virtually indistinguishable from my real hands apart from size.

Morning all.

Lots of exciting housework for me to do today. I always think I'll do all the jobs during the week so I can try and have a sort of restful Sunday but it never works out like that.

Have to take DD shopping for a tracksuit this morning too as she's got a PE session on at the local comprehensive school on Tuesday for some reason.

Morning! Had a lovely lie in this morning (aka refused to deal with DS at 6am). Just catching up on the start of strictly. Worked out the meaning of the judges costumes, I'd wondered why Bruno had come as Jean Paul Gautier.

Loving One Day. Grabbing a cheeky coffee and a quick shop - one DS is at rugby with DH and just dropped the other DS off. Million jobs at home and for work I should be doing but ... Full of a cold so feeling sorry for myself

Hope your cold gets better apsara. Touch wood for once our house seems to be cold free but that'll end as soon as the kids are back at school.

Oh my sympathies aspara. I'm starting to feel better from my cold at last, but it's been a really nasty one, a good 10 days of feeling absolutely rotten.

We've had a beautiful day down here, gorgeous weather, so nice we had lunch in the pub garden. I thought of you guys when we got to the pub.
