It goes without saying almost that TG will know exactly how we feel about CJ and presumably he has passed this on to the director/producer (and wasn't it mentioned in the behind the scenes on the DVD that BA was such a handsome chap. I guess it may depend on whether CJ wants to do it or whether he still has this burning ambition to crack Hollywood.

I'm wondering if woof is busy with staff selection for her Scottish branch.

DH is off to Dundee for work in a few weeks, should I be concerned?!?

I was wondering why MrP was so keen to fill in for the guy who covers Scotland the other day.

Rest assured my work in Dundee is now done and I'm thinking of moving on to Devon for some uncanny reason. However, if MrP and MrJen are being seconded I may have a couple more jobs to do in Dundee after all

Thanks so much ladies for the well wishes. I dont know any more than Mum's in hospital at the moment. I'm hoping she's just fighting off an infection. Recovery after cancer is quite up and down with her at the moment. You're all the best

Re: OG. I don't think TG would write CJ having a thing with MK somehow. It would undo the great story of CJ/MD in Series 1 in my opinion. If CJ has to have a bit of QS then hopefully it can only be with MD or me in my dreams
But it would be nice watching those gorgeous lips in action in S2.

Come to Devon woof and we can search for the tall curly one together! Once we find him and he's on board we'll work out some sort of rota for travelling between our houses

Well looks like I'm behind on FF again. Can't wait to read these new ones. Laceybird's stories are fab. I remember the one she did about MD's 2 minutes with of kissing CJ. It was so descriptive.

I meant to say earlier Maddie how lovely that your DS is making new noises. Did you say he was sleeping through the night now?

No unfortunately not kelly he is still waking 1-2 times a night for feeds, well except for last night which was giggling and raspberry blowing for most of the night. Can't complain he won't be little for long I know and he is always super excited to see me at anytime of the night which is lovely!

Aw how sweet, Mads. I love babies chubby fingers and gurgley noises too. To be fair I am a bit broody when I see little babies but still glad that DH got the snip as soon as I had the twins. the Doctor who did DH was bloody gorgeous and couldn't stop leering at him

Talking about leering, there's a new series starting in the next week or so on Channel 4 about men training to join the SAS. Some of the potentials look really hot. Must give that a watch. I'll let you know when it's on.

Evening! Couple of days absence due to the usual stressy work issues - gosh I'm beginning to think being Head of FIFA would be preferable and the fringe benefit are rumoured to be quite good.

Kelly hope your mum will be feeling better soon.

Like the speculation on Series 2 storylines and the will or won't CJ be taking part question. Here's another little storyline suggestion. CJ returns as OC of Two section (although I think it was suggested by those in the know last year that he might have taken a step down commanding a section because he wanted to go on a fourth tour - however, there is reference to him having spent a lot of time training with them before they went to Afghan so not sure about that anyway I digress). Two section are deployed out to Kenya to assist with refugee crisis etc and with them is new medic or part of a medical contingent, Corporal Georgie Lane played by our new OG - MK. It's previously been suggested by me and others that perhaps she could be married/involved maybe a mother. What if she were to get involved with someone from Two Section and CJ is effectively looking on seeing it all through the eyes of experience (been there done that and got the Tshirt with Molly on it) and being the confidante of one of them. This will all be played out against the backdrop of a wider story involving the politics and drama of the refugee crisis, maybe a personal interest storyline as well. Like others I just can't see anyone accepting another different love story involving CJ with someone else, we'd all think him such a love rat. Don't mind seeing someone else having a love story though even if it is bittersweet.

Don't worry Kelly I'm sure he could have Molly's photo on his desk and make some misty eyed/veiled comments about life, experience etc whilst gazing lovingly at her and perhaps caressing the photo with one of his gorgeous thumbs! Perhaps we ought to start up a virtual book on the plot and lay bets!

On a completely different subject - sort of - has anyone seen that BBC4 series A Very British Romance with Lucy Worsley I've been meaning to have a look and keep forgetting (I liked the one she did about Murder - she likes dressing up a lot and also did one about Dance with Len Goodman)

Oh no woof's not been up to her old tricks again has she? The alarm bells did ring when she sent me her best set of gnashers for safekeeping. She's learnt from past experience that it's best to leave them behind when passion overcomes her...

On a more salubrious note, I'm glad your mum's a little better kelly.

Evening all. Two new ff stories - you drew me in immediately Jen. Does Laceybird post on here? I don't think so but I could be getting confused. Loving greenstuff's update too. I keep looking in the afternoon at work and as soon as I see it's been updated, I sneak away to read it. I do like her version of CJ's mother in this story as there are bits of my ex mother in law in there too: makes me cringe just thinking of the old bat.

Rhubarb like your suggestions for series 2 - maybe you ought to pitch them to TG. I've said loads of times that you should pitch your previous stories to the BBC.

Also rhu, I love hearing your OG plot thoughts. Yours sounds great! I agree that they couldn't let CG have a romantic plot. Definitely, to let MK have the love story. Its just people who are wanting to see CJ in a QS scene, hopefully TG will have him waiting out until he gets home and shows him home again with Molly. (no awkward will they/won't they moments between him and MK out in Africa with them being 2 young, most probably very tanned, good looking people)

I've watched a couple of Lucy Worsley history documentaries I think she's done. If its the same lady (blonde, bobbed hair) she's pretty good.

Fantastic new story jen, I wish you could co-write with TG!!!!

I hope we don't have a love story central to S2 really; as we've said before there's so much scope for exploring the issues of women in the military, and what they bring to the modern army, as well as generally looking at the changing role of military in humanitarian and peacekeeping roles.

Great new story Jen. I must admit I'm rationing ff reading at moment so I won't read Laceybirds until I've some of my own stuff squared away. People from here make the cut though
