Evening all. Forgive any bad typing but I had one of those horrible eye screening things today where they put dye and special drops in your eyes and it makes everything blurred. Tends to give me a headache as well and a bit dizzy so am feeling a bit sorry for myself and probably won't be long out of bed.

Took the opportunity to watch the final episode of Dr Foster again but still struggled with it. Can't believe the secretary and the other doctor (who was supposedly her friend) were prepared to cover up for Simon to the extent they did.

Great updates from Jen and woof and I see on here that SPO has also reappeared so will read that in bed. Jen you've portrayed CJ a bit differently here - quite like the fact that he's lost his halo a little and gone off the rails a bit once he and Rebecca have split up!

Good morning! Feeling pretty fresh even after afternoon / night of drinking, paced myself. Boys still at gran's, DH out for a run - can't remember the last time I had time to myself on a sat morning!

Know what you mean jen I've just got rid of youngest DS to footy in his mate's car rather than my usual trudging along for hours on end, and it's absolute bliss schlepping around in my dressing gown like a slob but I love it I may even add to the laziness by having a double bacon butty and reading SPOs chapter again

Morning! What fab news to wake up to - Spo has returned! On the downside, I now have a gazillion ff to read, plus watching Apprentice, Homeland, The Returned, and my final chance to join the watchalong.

Sadly I doubt BA's purported readings at Marylebone will be of the Jack-Offanory type. We still need to persuade him to do a tour of all the best bookshops/village halls/theatres/bedrooms with his QS readings.
