Just catching up this eve and I couldn't stop a full on GUFFAW at Jeremy's writhing around on the floor.

I had high hopes for Helen's salsa but her legs are weirdly stick-like and ungainly in the latin dances. Maybe nerves got to her because she looked good in training?

Have sent my votes Anita and Gleb's way. I love them.

I haven't seen Jamelia or anyone after her as the internet refused to play nicely so I have voted for who I would like to see again: Katie, Peter and Jay. I didn't actually see any of them dance so I hope I've chosen well.

I loved all the music this week!

Daniel is not what I expected him to be. He's actually got quite a good sense of humour and doesn't take himself too seriously, still think his music fucking appalling though.

I'm very much Team Jay and Katie, and Ainsley, and Jeremy, and Helen, and Anita so I actually went back and watched Jay and Aliona in the background after Anton and Katie's VW, and whilst Aliona was clinging on to him for dear life her expression was grim rather than loved up, I think they were both just absolutely gutted that such an ambitious barnstorming dance got screwed up so badly on the night and reacting to that. When you've got just one chance to do a performance and the stakes are so high....

Wish they would stick to traditional music.

Morning all, catching up, just watched Jay and Aliona.
I think Red is right, he needs a duff week, I'm glad it's nice and early when he's less exposed.

I wish Brendan and Kirsty would just admit they're not as good as they think they are! Although I think they're well within their rights to moan about being given that music for a Paso. I was a bit WTF?

I actually loved Jamelias Chatrleston - like a PP said, she's not a very tidy dancer, so this suited her perfectly. And I quite liked the jazzy version of that Paula Andul song!

Oh and I really enjoyed JVs jive- I think Karen does a good job getting the fun out of her partners.
I'd like to see her with someone with a bit more potential one year.

Don't think there's anything going on between Jay and Aliona. IMO their body language was supportive more than amorous - it maybe because Aliona is from a culture where people are simply more tactile, not sure. Anyhoo, the conspiracy theorist in me thinks their dance was a successful failure...ie it was deliberately thrown to have a 'bad' week. Surely someone who was that good last week shouldn't have been so appalling this week?

Apart from the Rumba, I think the Paso is the most difficult dance for
both male and female celebs with little or no stage dance training/experience.
I enjoyed Carol's more than Kirsty's Paso.

They are both my faves for watching pros dance them.

Anyone know any definites for the tour yet? I am getting a bit worried at who might do it.

I was going to say wtf about Tess's dress!!!!!! It looked just like the designer had accidentally torn off one sleeve and half the bodice and replaced with an old lace petticoat, but thought "Oh not enough for the sleeve never mind it's a cool look geddit.!"

Agreed about music. 'Twas shite. I always think Tess is dressed terribly & Claudia usually trumps her every time.

Yes her hair looked alright, though tbh I was just soo mesmerised by the ridiculousness of her dress I didn't notice it much can you imagine it hanging down on one bare arm and one not .

I saw a repeat of Would I Lie To You later last night which she was on and when she 's not 'acting' mindless presenter she seemed normal!! If a bit over made up!!

Yes true Sparkling And actually the slebs body language is fascinating; they really don't like her but LOVE Claude

Does Tess actually know much about dancing? Would be good to have a presenter who did and could have a bit of knowledgeable banter with the judges. And say 'judges' correctly.

I liked some of the music last night, and hated others!

Thinking about it, Tess is there to 'represent' the slebs, be on their side, but she doesn't really seem to get it does she? She gushes too much.

I don't think she's necessary. The slebs could just stand there and the judges could comment and pass to the next one.
