Does anyone else think that last two minutes was just setting up ready for a nice second series about Dr Foster, the sassy single mum doctor

What a let down! The Mumsnet version was far better.......

The dinner party scene was mesmerising. Loved Gemma's 'I'm a wolf' line - I was virtually applauding her at that point.

Absolute crock.

I feel angry that I stuck with it.

I don't think Simon will get a happy ending. Kate looked a bit sorry for Dr F and irritated by him. And he's driving off to a city he hates in a shit car.

Disappointing that Simon didn't lose everything.

I wanted Kate to be like, "get the fuck away from me" after that incident but instead she's all, "ooooh we're moving to London!". ODFOD. It would've been better had she left him or if there'd been something to suggest Simon's eye was already wandering.

In the article I read earlier it said they hadn't ruled out a second series but I don't know where they'd go with it now.

I feel after that. Simon should have lost everything. He wasn't made to suffer enough.

It wasn't just her husband shagging a 23 year old, he also gambled away all her money on dodgy investments and forged her name when signing away the house. If it was just an affair it would have been simpler. I think it's sad the young boy will grow up without his father though and she was a rubbish mother and doctor in many ways.

I was gripped throughout the dinner party, but it went down hill rapidly from there. Lots of blaming Gemma for 'not being there', 'too busy' and 'no fun'.

The holiday photo had no bearing other than to give the name of Whitestones.
