I think enough of Deeana's people are now dead that after that piss poor performance she's not going to be considered a leader anymore. Those remaining will be very aware that none of them are even nearly prepared.

Yes - 'it's much better for everyone that I stay hiding out here with my son whilst you all get slaughtered' doesn't make much of a rallying cry ??

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 20/10/2015 07:25

I thought that too 1Q84!
As if it's going to be much comfort to everyone left behind that their 'leader' is okHmm

My brain was in overdrive last night thinking about this. I was wondering if Enid was with the wolves why she would go back to them and not side with the Alexandrians and warn them. Then I was thinking maybe they are holding one of her parents as hostage possibly after saving them at the car? One of the other wolves said something about not having a choice but could have simply meant because of the world they now live in.

Also when Aaron found his back pack with all the photo's of Alexandria inside I took that to mean that's how the wolves knew about them and came looking. Which would have been after Enid was already living there.

So the "we" she was referring to could have been her and Coral referring to them sneaking out.

And yes, Morgan actually annoyed me letting that group of wolves go. If non had returned any others would maybe think twice about attacking again.

Monroe · 20/10/2015 07:38

And why we're they capturing some and killing all the others? It looked like it was just men they were capturing I think. Did one say "good catch" to carol about Morgan?

rockabillyruby82 · 20/10/2015 09:06

I was a bit underwhelmed by last nights episode! I was geared for the walker invasion lol.
Did anyone else note the episode was in real time? The timer was set by Carol and went off at the end. I thought that was pretty cool!

ElderlyKoreanLady · 20/10/2015 09:08

The capturing is probably logistical. Wolves use people in their traps and it's far easier to get them to walk there themselves than struggle with a walker.

They also seem very cult-like to me. Ritual sacrifice maybe?

ElderlyKoreanLady · 20/10/2015 09:10

I did notice the real time...liked that touch Smile

BreakingDad77 · 20/10/2015 11:21

Was the A standing for Armoury?

How come morgan got back so quick, (guess we we will see next week where rest are) to the compound as at the end of episode 1 they were all turning towards alexandria which from that "your nearly at Alexandria" sign is close?

I was expecting the back doors of that ramming truck to pop open and zombies come out (what I would have done)

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 20/10/2015 13:05

That's Carol for you. Whip up a casserole, kick some arse and be back in time to dish up.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 20/10/2015 13:35

BreakingDad didn't Rick send him back to tell the others (at Alexandria) when it looked like herding the horde was going well? So he was probably at least half way before it all went pear shaped.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/10/2015 15:40

Loved the timer. So all happened in 25 mins

Still can't believe no Rick :(

DontOpenDeadInside · 20/10/2015 19:26

45 minutes Blondes.

carbcraver · 20/10/2015 19:28

Didn't notice the time!

First time posting but have been lurking.

I was wondering if I made this up or was being eagle eyed.

When Edith walks up to Alexandria she is scratching JSS into her hand, yet when she actually enters this is a healed scar on her hand.
To me it suggests that there was a significant time between first seeing Alexandria and entering it, possibly time spent with the Wolves.

I need to rewatch to see if I have mistaken it though!

Oops sorry for the double post!

LoveArtDeco · 20/10/2015 19:50

I thought that she was just drawing jss in the dirt on her hand rather than scratching it in?

Nightwish · 20/10/2015 20:14

Maybe she was just drawing it or sketching the scar. There is no close up of her hand earlier on to show if it is there already or not.
And she is called Enid... damn it.

Ridingthegravytrain · 20/10/2015 20:38

I have just said coral out loud and finally twigged why you call him that. Derr!

This season looks good. I'd been getting a bit bored tbh

LoveArtDeco · 20/10/2015 20:43

Good point Nightwish I really need to watch again. I think I always miss a ton of stuff .

Just caught up with the first 2 episodes as I was waiting for DH to watch with me (he's been away) then he decided that he's not going to watch anymore as "nothing ever happens" so I could have watched ages ago Angry.

Loved Carol's little housewifey act in the first episode - when they were discussing the plan - "that sounds...terrifying" and then going all kick-ass - thank God she was there!

Darryl is looking a bit too old and grotty for my liking now.

It didn't occur to me that Enid was with the wolves, I really don't get what their game is, why were they chopping off legs and arms etc? It seemed overly brutal, rather than just kill because you want what another human has (food, shelter etc).

I thought Morgan was leaving...I hope not though, hope he was just patrolling as he is a good addition to the gang but he does need to start killing. Mistake letting the wolves go.

Glad I read this thread as there is so much I miss or don't observe! And now DH doesn't watch I have to mutter away to myself like a mad woman!

Monroe · 20/10/2015 21:46

I thought Morgan and Carol were both checking all the bodies were double dead just walking in opposite directions.

riding try saying it on a really gruff voice with a southern American drawl Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/10/2015 22:37
