Good thinking Anchor, makes sense.

quirkychick · 19/10/2015 21:52

Go Carol!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/10/2015 21:57

omg. An episode with no rick Shock

Llareggub · 19/10/2015 21:58

Brilliant episode. Carol is by far one of the best female characters in any show I've seen.

StormyLovesOdd · 19/10/2015 22:01

Agree, brilliant episode.

I love that we get the Talking Dead straight after too.

brittanyfairies · 19/10/2015 22:04

Wasn't it brilliant? Carol is such a brilliant character, she has so many dimensions. It has to be one of the best episodes they've made.

Is that it for Morgan then? Was he leaving at the end?

exLtEveDallas · 19/10/2015 22:06

I am now far more in love with Carol than Darryl.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 19/10/2015 22:10

That's it. Bugger the early night, I have to watch.

I knew I would, No will power

Llareggub · 19/10/2015 22:15

You won't regret it at all.

brittanyfairies · 19/10/2015 22:17

Adora watch it, you won't regret it.

I actually jump out of bed on Monday mornings so that I can download it and watch it as soon as possible.

Kitsandkids · 19/10/2015 22:18

How did the Wolves recognise Morgan? I can't remember an episode with him with the Wolves but it seems I must have forgotten it!

gingerboy1912 · 19/10/2015 22:25

Wow fab episode, can't believe enid ate the tortoise Shock I thought Morgan and Carole at the end were patrolling Alexandria I don't think Morgan was leaving.

Llareggub · 19/10/2015 22:26

I seem to remember a scene in the woods where Morgan let some wolves go after scaring them with his stick.

gamerchick · 19/10/2015 22:29

That particular wolf that Morgan killed at the end he met when sitting having his breaky in the woods and wolf dude tried to mug him. He knocked him out and stuck him in a car and took the rabbit foot.

Course she ate the tortoise. Animals are food in a post apocalyptic world where you probably have malnutrition. Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/10/2015 22:43

Surprised the tortoise survived

Yes morgan met thee wolves in the woods and he beat them up after they tried to steal off him

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 19/10/2015 22:43

Those two Wolves that Morgan beat up and left in the car were the ones that appeared later at the lorry park where Morgan rescued Daryl and Aaron. They'd been following a guy in a red poncho. At the end of the program the Wolves turned up with the poor poncho guy, slit his throat and left him. You saw him later as a walker in the compound.

Am counting down the minutes. Grin

Enid said something about the place being too big to defend and too many blind spots "that's how we were able to....." so definitely sounded like she was in on the wolves attacking. She would have known all the fighters were off doing the practice run of leading the zombie hoard away and that Alexandria was vulnerable.

Carol was amazing, again. Think it's safe to say her stepford wife cover is blown!

I was convinced at the end when Coral took the food out of the oven he would look at the monitor and Judith would be gone.

So they've chased the wolves away for now but they have a zombie hoard heading towards them. Interesting. And who was Morgan's cheesemaker Grin

Monroe · 19/10/2015 23:04

That's not how you spell "hoard" is it? Even as I was typing it I thought it didn't look right. Is it horde? Can I call it a throng? Or does that sound too much like thong?

What is the collective name for a group of zombies? A shuffle?

I may have taken too many pain meds and need to go to bed

Llareggub · 19/10/2015 23:05

I'm re-watching. I've spotted 2 red As - one on a bottle top and one at the end when Carol sits on the step holding the fags. Any ideas?

ElderlyKoreanLady · 19/10/2015 23:13

Not entirely sure Morgan did kill that last Wolf. He wasn't on the Talking Dead death count was he?

Also looks like in TV land, getting walker blood in a cut isn't a death sentence from the sneak peak + Talking Dead's explanation. Wonder how that'll impact on Negan's storyline.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 19/10/2015 23:15

Fairly sure "that's how we were able to" refers to her and Coral getting in and out over the wall without permission and without being noticed.

Moln · 19/10/2015 23:20

It's horde (just watch before this the last episode of series 1 of The Returned which happens to be called The Horde!!)

What was the 'A' on the house about?

StormyLovesOdd · 19/10/2015 23:35

"A" could be for Alexander?

1Q84 · 19/10/2015 23:52

I think the 'a' is for Alexandria - the little boy had a stamp - but it might be more than that because the 'A' seems to be a reoccurring motif - wasn't there a big one at terminus?

I don't think Morgan killed the man either, if I don't see them with their brains blown out or entrails oozing I always find it safe to assume they will be back to exact revenge or cause trouble.

I thought Morgan's behaviour last night almost inexcusable, the wolf he didn't kill at the end of last season (who went onto kill the red poncho hiker) now has a gun and will clearly be back. Morgan can make a choice not to kill but I think he needs to remain solo in that case - all he is doing at the moment is endangering those he is allied with. If the moral choice, as presented last night, is between Carol and Morgan then I am Carol all the way.

I would have felt much better seeing a shot of Judith in her cot at the end too so I didn't imagine Enid running off with her all night

It almost seemed too obvious that Enid was a member of The Wolves last night but it's hard to think of another explanation for the keys, the cut off 'that's how we...'etc. maybe she did the same at the community where Noah's family lived and that's why she hesitated before going in at the beginning?

1Q84 · 19/10/2015 23:54

Ooh and I thought Jessie and the new Dr stepped up quite well but Deanna and her son were appalling!
