Why did that couple turn on Darryl? That wasn't clear to me at all. Were they just pretending to want to leave the crazy people (were the crazy people Wolves or yet another group of assholes?) I don't think they were pretending to want to leave - I think they were seriously trying to get away from them. So why have they turned on Darryl? Just to get a motorcycle and a crossbow? And why did the motorcycle suddenly work? What the fuck was that about?

I forget how we left Alexandria. Surrounded by walkers but was that all?

I never understood why the walls were reinforced from the outside. That makes no sense.

I think the voice on the CB sounded like the random that attacked Daryl.

That was a bit of a slow episode but someone said they often spend time on a character that they're going to kill off. They had poor old Noah talking about keeping a diary of events for the future on the day he got killed. I think Abe is next in line for the chop. Sasha won't tell Rosita what he said to her.

Only two more episodes to go until the mid season break and then that's it till February.

Yesterday's episode was a bit odd. There were bits that didn't make sense to me.
Why did Daryl leave his bike?
Why were sasha and Abraham sitting around when anyone else would be trying to get home?
How did those 3 people get away so easily when confronted by those new 'bad' characters? They just ran a few paces to where Daryl was hiding and they managed to get one attacked by a walker, get his arm off and then off they went.
But they managed to get some good supplies and Daryl traded his motorbike up for some heavy duty vehicle that's obviously going to help them get rid of the horde or escape from them.
Daryl looked particularly filthy too. Just get in the shower with a good solid bar of antibacterial soap, will you?

Sasha and Abraham were sitting around because the best way to find a tracker is to stay in one place until he finds you.

I've got a theory. I thought the voice on the radio sounded like Nicholas(?). Maybe blowing his brains out was an hallucination (as they were out of bullets according to some) and when it didn't work he spoke in to the radio. It might be a long shot but you never know with this programme.

Abe's a gonner, the minute anyone gives a big speech about how much they want to live and enjoy life, they're lucky if they make it to the end of the episode never mind the end of the season.

Did we see the Governor die? I want this new band of baddies to be his new gang if he escaped.

My 10 year old who has never watched an episode, read a comic or played a WD video game, but who once got the character of Glenn in a FB game, so loves him. Apparently he watched a video of the last minute of the episode on YouTube and is convinced that the voice on the radio was Glenn. I just thought it was the folks in Alexandria, but then I have no imagination.

We didn't see the governor die. He was injured on the ground after the battle. Michonne came along and stabbed Hershel's head, gave the governor a withering look and wandered off. Then Tara's sister came along with a gun but we didn't actually see her shoot him. We know that she got overrun by walkers but we don't know if she killed the governor first.

I'm pretty sure that was the introduction of Negan's people (hence why we saw very few faces, as most of them hadn't been cast yet). I think it was supposed to be a demonstration of the power he holds over people - even when they're reduced to just existing and not living, they'll still choose him over any alternative. And I think that's why his henchmen didn't try too hard to find them - they knew they'd come back. But not sure any of that came across particularly effectively.

I also suspect it won't be the last we see of that crossbow.

I'm not sure that the three that Daryl met were actually bad people though - if they were they'd have killed him for his bike and crossbow. They've been through the mill and have trust issues. Don't forget that when Aaron first turned up Rick and co. tied him up and stole the food from the RV.

Negan's group are called the 'Saviors'. There was some dialogue that sounded like they were referring to Negan.
Another disappointing episode though, didn't seem to go anywhere!

I think the voice was either Glenn, or the bloke who stole Daryl's stuff - I think he took the radio as well.

Of course, the new big question to add to the question of whether Glenn is alive is 'when will Daryl get his crossbow back'? Because he will, definitely. And I pity the fool who took it.

Where's the huge herd of walkers that Daryl and co were leading?

I rewatched some of the first and second series recently, it was amazing how much cleaner everyone looked looked.
