As far as the governor is concerned, in the opening of the next episode "After", his corpse is seen lying on the ground, with both legs dragged off, his chest ripped into, and a bullet hole in his forehead. So probably not coming back.

The walkers were led about 20 miles from alexandria, and then left to their own devices to continue along the road, wander off etc but being far enough away from the camp so they do not bother them.

Two silly walker incidents last night. The diabetic girl getting too close before they had been stabbed in the head and the guy getting his arm bitten. I know Daryl wanted him to go that way but for someone who has survived this long to not be alert enough to see the walker is just silly.

Another silly thing - in woodland that is quite dry and parts burnt out there was a bush to drag over Daryl's bike and also a bush over that big truck.

The walkers that are at Alexandria are they only at the front gate or all around? I am trying to work out if they can leg it over the back wall if the walkers break through.

I dunno, I feel a little disappointed that the writers are dragging this out and in doing so making daft decisions I the storyline.

I did like how annonymous guy told the other anonymous guy after he'd had his arm chopped off that he should 'walk it off'

Oh yeah, CarolDecker is right - you do get a brief shot of the governor with a hole in his head at the start of 'After'.

Yeah "walk it off". Perhaps trying to show us they are well 'ard!

We know chopping off limbs stops them being infected once bitten tho his friend was quite harsh and funny in 'walk it off'

Think darryl bike stopped working and seems he kept falling off it as in may be damaged hence why he left it and yes the one green branch /leaves to hide it in a burnt out wood

Can't believe he helped them and they stole his bike which now works and crossbow

They kept talking about 'he' assume he is the leader of other gang - seems to be so many gangs now / they aren't wolves

Who were the burnt people who ate the diabetic girl - and they way she fell /got pulled in was quite comical

Soooooooo want to wash and give darryl a haircut - he was so sexy in previous series and now scummy instead of yummy

And Abraham looked lovely in his new clothes - hope he doesn't die

The burnt people were just people the trio knew who lived in the woods who they thought were elsewhere when they started the fire.

Didn't get the conversation between Abraham and Sasha, I didn't know what they were on about half the time. Was he coming on to her? Someone explain please!

The man who had his arm chopped off - seriously, would he not have passed out with the pain?! Walk it off...that made me laugh! As if!

Darryl without his crossbow - like a super hero without his powers, I felt very stressed about him not having it! He is looking decidedly grimy but I still love him...what a kind heart under all that skulking persona...not that it did him any good. Loved it when the girl said "sorry" to him and he said "you're gonna be". Go Darryl!

Not sure who the Help voice was - did Glenn have a walkie talkie? I think it could be the guy who stole the bike, and yes I reckon the gang are Negan's.

Looks like it is all kicking off back in Alexandria again next week...

Very confusing episode. Disappointed that it didn't really add to the storyline.

Agree that Daryl needs his crossbow back ASAP.

It's just occurred to me that the timeline is all running concurrently, so the voice saying help might not even be saying it at the same time that Glenn is under the dumpster.

And why did the people in the woods appear to be laying under a plastic sheet? Did their cabin have a plastic roof that melted onto them?

Why are the random 3 talking in riddles? Very frustrating episode but some very cool looking walkers

We discovere last week that we can watch almost live via Amazon prime so I've been using my credits to buy episodes we've now caught up ( over about a week ) and more confused than ever!

The walker beside Daryl when he first came off the bike looked covered in plastic too (although that may have been just a motorbike helmet)

MRsadorable - I took that to be the glass panes had fallen in and melted - hence the tinkling of glass.

I love twd but that episode was disappointing. And how is daryl so minging when they've got hot water and showers at Alexandria ?

Agreed, Daryl has gone from yummy to scummy. It's only supposed to have been about a day since he was near a working shower. And there's no excuse for the long greasy hair either.

Just rewatching now to clear a few things up that I got confused about. The 'Patty' they were talking about was a fuel truck! The one Daryl got at the end! (Slow moment of mine).

It was definitely a slow episode and though it didn't do much for the current story arch, it does lay the foundations for a new one.

Well it's been three or four slow episodes now. Something massive is obviously going to happen.

I remember when they first got to Alexandria thinking take a bloody shower Daryl but he never seemed to!

Glad I wasn't the only confused one, spent most of the episode squinting at the tv with the volume up trying to figure out what everyone was saying!

Balls, I made a stupid bet last night with OH, if Glen is alive he will cook dinner unassisted for 5 nights in a row. If he is dead I have to run 10 miles. I'm fucked aren't I
