You're right - you'd think after the farm they'd have had a meeting point for the prison.

ScrappyMalloy · 13/11/2015 12:03

And Aaron knows about the sewer but didn't pass on the information to the rest of the town for emergency evacuation purposes. He and Maggie just had a loud conversation at the exit, to attract the walkers over, effectively cutting of possibly the only escape route.

MrsClusterfuck · 13/11/2015 12:32

Also, I wonder why they never seem to use sexual protection? Surely if you had to get your rocks off in a post-apocalyptic zombie infested world, you'd make damn sure not to end up pregnant?

Especially Maggie who had to perform Lori's C-section, and who (ironically) first shagged Glenn in a pharmacy.

QueenStromba · 13/11/2015 12:39

They used condoms that time though - the whole thing happened because Maggie caught Glenn with a box of condoms in his hand when he was looking for the pregnancy test.

vvviola · 13/11/2015 12:41

Is it my imagination, or did Maggie not get contraception while at that particular pharmacy? I thought there was a scene where she was taking some boxes of the pill off a shelf?? Or did I make that up? (And to be fair, even if she did, she may have lost them/run out/had to leave them behind)

BreakingDad77 · 13/11/2015 12:41

I was wondering with the blood coming through the walls, could they be pilling up into each other to start to make a ramp to the top of the walls?

vvviola · 13/11/2015 12:42

Cross post QueenStromba Smile That must have been what I half-remembered.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 13/11/2015 12:44

I don't like the chap cast as Negan either. He just doesn't look right. I think he should be a hulking great bloke who obviously uses his sheer size and brute strength to intimidate and bully his way around like he does in the comics. They're going to have to pad him up a bit to make him look anywhere near scary enough.

MrsClusterfuck · 13/11/2015 12:52

Maggie should probably have stocked up Grin

gingerboy1912 · 13/11/2015 13:14

I'm guessing the contraception ran out. Although I don't think taking a pill everyday would be top of my list during an apocalypse.

BreakingDad77 · 13/11/2015 13:16

Jeffrey Dean Morgan - maybe watch him as the antihero "the comedian" in Watchmen, in that he sexually assaults his gf/takes great delight in war and revelling during a riot in attacking civilian protesters.

Writtenbyme · 13/11/2015 13:21

Maybe the pregnancy is planned.

MrsClusterfuck · 13/11/2015 13:28

Maybe it is. If so I think Maggie is nuts then. But at least it gives the writers some material to chew over - there'll be weeks of 'look what happened to Lori will it also happen to me'.

I quite like JDM as Negan although he's a little more handsome than his comic book counterpart. He was brilliant as the Comedian so I don't think playing the part will be a problem.

rockabillyruby82 · 13/11/2015 13:29

In the comics the pregnancy was planned, they started trying to conceive in the prison.

UnGoogleable · 13/11/2015 18:53

Ooh Jeffrey Dean Morgan is rather tasty, Rick may have competition for my affections. now that he's snogged that harlot

He's like a cross between Robert Downey Jr and Javier Bardem.

StealthPolarBear · 13/11/2015 19:23

Caught up with the series but not the thread!

lightupmynight · 13/11/2015 22:10

Has anyone watched this clip yet? (sorry if its already been discussed)

I wonder who the people are in the cars Confused

It definitely can't be the Wolves.

Daryl clearly gets held hostage by someone as well.

lightupmynight · 13/11/2015 22:16

Just in case anyone was interested (not sure if its been mentioned)

But the walker that Jessie comes across in house was someone who committed suicide (you can see that she cut her wrists) and no a victim of the Wolves.

She was the wife of the man who died after trying to give Michonne the note.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2015 22:32

What was then point of the sewer?

And zomblies have seemed to get much faster then in s1

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 13/11/2015 22:55

Hadn't seen that clip light, thanks. How did you know the suicide was the wife of the guy with the note? Must have missed that.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 14/11/2015 13:11

The blood isn't seeping through the fence! I've watched and rewatched and rerewatched. It's dripping down from above, where Deeana's pissed up son is on watch I think.

And I personally think they've made a great casting decision for Negan. He does good guy roles really well but I've always thought that between his rugged good looks and how obviously charismatic he is, he'd do well as a narcissistic psycho killer.

QueenStromba · 14/11/2015 13:18

It's not cut and dried yet whether he's a good guy in The Good Wife.

StealthPolarBear · 14/11/2015 14:16

Sorry who is negan?

lightupmynight · 14/11/2015 14:39

It's suppose to be symbolic?

Deanna was born again - which is why she was covered in blood.

Being born again in blood (rather than water) means that you are now open to the darkness. (Think of the film Carrie, Dexter etc)

Deanna has accepted that she needs to be more savage.

The blood seeping in from the outside is symbolic of whether the Alexandrians are now open to accepting a new savage life.

lightupmynight · 14/11/2015 14:40

Sorry who is negan?

A villain from the comic.
