Just googled Eric and he's alive. Yes Daffodil he was there next to Aaron when Rick was doing the speech.

Googled Jeffrey Dean Morgan too as I knew the name and couldn't place him - it's Denny from Greys Anatomy! He does look like Robert Downey Jnr these days. Wonder when he'll make an appearance?

Agree re Glenn's death, they've left it too long and them spotting him as a walker wouldn't be realistic so he's either just never to be seen again (unlikely) or they'll show a flashback of his death, but think they'd have shown that at the time iyswim, so I'm now thinking he's alive. Maggie's given up hope so he probably is!

nameschangerer · 11/11/2015 09:52

Maggie hasn't given up hope. She's scrubbed his name off the wall

Figgygal · 11/11/2015 13:12

I think I wish he was dead it would be more realistic.....so many people get killed by walkers almost casually even those who can fight why should the core group be any different? It would be a massive twist if he was dead as no-one can believe he would be taken out in such a "mundane" way.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 11/11/2015 13:38

He probably is then, isn't he? They like their twists. Look at what they did to poor Beth.

The Negan thing will most likely be saved for another member of the group.

TheWoodenSpoonOfMischief · 11/11/2015 13:43

Figgygal you can't bring realism into a series about zombies Grin

Glenn had better be alive. It's too sad otherwise.

ILikeToClean · 11/11/2015 16:00

Oh yes she scrubbed his name out at the end, what I meant was she wasn't acting all completely in denial about his death, which in tv land if a person has hope normally means they're a gonna! I think he should be dead, for reality's sake Hmm (obviously way past that!) but I'm not sure he is with the way they've done the storyline.

Who is Negan? Haven't read comics so no clue - good or evil?

nameschangerer · 11/11/2015 16:59

Also, they made such a big deal out of Ricks hand when he cut it on the zombie knife in that previous episode. Why didn't that get a mention in this one!?

arowhena · 11/11/2015 17:48

Negan is a psycho villain.

gamerchick · 11/11/2015 22:02

And he's been cast Grin

Figgygal · 11/11/2015 22:07

Carrrrl is very tall all of a sudden he seems to have very long arms

ILikeToClean · 11/11/2015 22:10

Not another pyscho villain! Grin

BingoBonkers · 12/11/2015 02:36

Roll on next week!!

BingoBonkers · 12/11/2015 07:33

I totally loved Denny in GA. Broke my heart when he died.

Who knows about Glenn and whether he did or didn't survive. It's the biggest question so far but I think we feel like that because we are wiz series in and invested.

carbcraver · 12/11/2015 12:57

All I'm waiting for is more Daryl Wink

I'm late to this, but just wanted to say what a mundane episode! And the boss lady (can't remember her name) has a very strange mask like face.

There was a split second flash of the dumpster where Glenn was last seen during the preview of next week. I rewound it several times, really hard to do as it was literally on for a split second. They're totally teasing us. I eventually managed to pause it, and there's a pile of guts/clothes in the spot where Glenn fell.

He's under the dumpster, I'm sure of it. He will survive.

Oh also - when Maggie was fighting the gooey bog swamp zombies. How come they're so rotten that her hand goes straight through them, yet they themselves have the strength to pin her down? Hmmmm?

MrsClusterfuck · 13/11/2015 09:51

Did Maggie actually say she was pregnant? I must have missed that.

Not a great episode but it can't be blood and guts all the time I guess. What did annoy me was the amount of female whimpering going on - Maggie, Deanna (albeit understandably), that dull woman Rick kissed and even Rosita was crying. Why was that by the way? I'm used to Tara moping around. I think the only woman who cracked a smile in that episode was doctor lady. Where's Carol when you need her?

At this point I don't care if Glenn is alive or not, it's being drawn out in way that distracts from the rest of the story.

Really looking forward to a Daryl episode next week.

Maggie told Aaron when they were in the sewers - he told her that Aaron/Erin would be a great name for a boy or a girl.

I'm with you on the not really caring if Glenn is alive or dead any more (and he's always been my favourite character) which is why I posted that I'm sure he's alive.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 13/11/2015 10:01

Yes, Maggie did say she was pregnant, in the swampy sewer thing.

The adverts for next week's episode have started on Fox, and feature lots of Daryl and a shot of a dumpster absolutely surrounded by walkers which hopefully means Glenn has just run away over the fence.

Deanna was supposed to show how weak the people of Alexandria really are, in that she can't cope with even the aftermath of death, and she had no idea that you have to stab walkers in the head. It's supposed to prove Rick's point that they just don't have the necessary experience.

There was quite a lot of complaints about Carol and Michonne being absent, along with Daryl et al. They had very few main characters, it must have been a cheap episode to shoot. Even the shot at the start that looks like Michonne and Carol was stand-ins.

QueenStromba · 13/11/2015 10:11

I wonder if they were pressed for time shooting these episodes? Doctor Who often has an episode where The Doctor is largely missing followed by an episode where the companion is largely missing or episodes where they're both largely missing (e.g. Blink) so that multiple episodes can be shot at once. The way the cast are split up they could be shooting 2-3 episodes at once.

BreakingDad77 · 13/11/2015 11:07

This episode seemed a bit of filler tbh, I thought rik was pretty much surrounded in the RV, and so how he got away god knows.

I am amazed that no one has come across the locked up wolf.

How come they're so rotten that her hand goes straight through them

I hate the boglin zombies, remind me of a time I pulled a dead blackbird that had got trapped at sometime in a water filled manhole, it looked complete but as I pulled it out the feathers and skin seemed to molt off and fall apart. Shock

Also how come daryl, abraham etc complete radio silence i thought we would have heard something?

ScrappyMalloy · 13/11/2015 11:32

Thank you those of you who also noticed the dumpster snippet -I mentioned it above but no one else seemed to have paused it and scrutinized it like me seen it Grin

I have just googled the actor cast as Negan - I have literally never seen ANYTHING that he has been in (what are the chances?) but he does have a touch of the Robert Downey Juniors about him, I agree.

Looking forward to his introduction.

By the way, I am ridiculously pleased for Rick and his new lady friend -what a nice couple they make. Poor old Lori was never made for this world, but his new squeeze is made of stronger stuff Grin

QueenStromba · 13/11/2015 11:47

Are you referring to the dumpster at 15 seconds into this clip? If so, it's clearly not the same dumpster.

Writtenbyme · 13/11/2015 11:52

I think that it was walker blood seeping through the wall where the pressure of all the walkers is starting to break the wall up.

I find it so frustrating that they seem to have no emergency plan. Haven't they learnt anything from the farm and the prison? First of all they need to do a thorough sweep of every room of every building just in case there are any wolves or walkers (they would find the mad looking wolf). Then a regular head count/register so they can keep track of everyone and make sure they are sticking together (they would discover people wandering off and doing their own thing) The entire boundary needs constant checks (they would discover the blood seeping through). They also need an external meeting point in case they have to evacuate.

For quite a dull episode it has got me pondering!

ScrappyMalloy · 13/11/2015 11:56

No, that's not the trailer that I saw after TWD on UK television this week Confused

The UK one had a snippet of Glenn's dumpster, filmed from above, with walkers surrounding it on all sides, and a little knot of them eating something bloody where Glenn and Nicholas fell. It seems a strange addition if Glenn is dead...
