The person Stacey saw is the new transgender character. I don't think they can be Zoe's twin because I think think there is quite an age difference.

The character is called Kyle so I think male. I did used to think he used to be Zsa Zsa but now I think he's the half-brother of Stacey. An article on Digital Spy has just reminded me that the key story has been going on since March 2014 Shock

Dh had a zippo years ago those buggers gets hot how he held it for so long is beyond me. Dd said sharon could just sigh it out Grin. Gotta say new Denny isnt annoying which suprised me.

I've been watching but mostly on catch up recently because RL keeps getting in the way!

That was a good twist I thought at the end last night - although you all seem to have know about it before it happened reading back! Iifc they did say Sharon's dad was called Gavin during the storyline about it?

What's the deal with the transgender character? I remember you all chatting about it before but I thought when Les was revealed as Christine that was the storyline. Is the new character actually transgendered or transgendered in the storyline? I'm very interested in where this key thing is going.

How sweet was Martin last night? He annoys in a slightly drippy sense but actually there is something about him and Kush that you just can't dislike! Poor Shabs. I'm starting to actually feel some empathy for her.

Please tell me Ronnie isn't going to make another person disappear - it's getting old. They need to find a new thing for her to do.

we knew Sharon's bio dad was called Gavin from her bio mums letters (?). EE doesn't do subtle or coincidences.

I've just re-read the announcement about Stacey's key man. He is a transgender actor playing a transgender character.

We also saw Gavin's sister's house (where he'd been keeping Phil) back when Phil showed Sharon where her real Dad lived.

Long lost children always appeared in Dynasty, Dallas and the like. Its now a trend in EE it seems.
Jean only ever mentioned Stacey and Sean when she used to go about when they were young and she was battling with her bi poler, in and out of hospital and so on,. Now theres a new Slater on the block.?
Gavin is defo Sharon's dad, Phil's fil, dennys grandpa, kathys ex, ben and ians ex step dad (?) ( are they divorced ?) and all round nasty piece of work.

There were many opportunities for either Kathy or Ben to have pushed the table over or even pushed the fireworks onto the floor behind the table.
Even more so when Sharon came in and Gavin turned his back to them.

Eastenders has a lot of Chekov's gun moments. As soon as closeeyes started messing with the electrics my DH guessed that Stacey would end up electrocuted. Plus nobody on TV ever manages to just let a firework off safely without some dramatic storyline.
