If I was Ian I would have been sure I was dying and just between worlds, he's lying on a hospital bed after being hit by a car FFS surely you'd take more convincing that you were both alive!

When Ian was talking to Jane in hospital and saying that he thought he saw Kaffy, I really thought Jane was going to cover it up and it would be dragged out even longer. I swear I was seconds away from throwing my remote at the telly and giving up on the lot of them!

Maryz, what you haven't been told is that EE writers secretly monitor this thread and it's where they get all their daft ideas

They just relied on Shirley's word on what Dean's blood type was. I always wondered if she lied to keep the peace. I'm predicting they do a "everyone should give blood" storyline starring Dean who'll then discover his real blood type & gate crash the wedding on NYD to demand a paternity test. This will be after social services decide Jade is better off with Shabnam, even though she'll be a single mother & living with her dad again after Kush dumps her for Stacey & their immaculately conceived baby. During Dean's rant he'll let slip that he did in fact rape Linda & Roxy will finally see through his manipulative ways & dump him & Shirley will turn her back on him. I don't see how he can get his comeuppance & stay in the show.

Shirley had all the kids tested after jimbo so she showed mick medical notes that she had kept.
Considering she's lived in every house in the square and abandoned her kids it was very convenient that she's been lugging her grown up kids medical notes around.

I've just read that EE has cast a transgender man - to first appear soon and to be a regular by XMAS.

The transgender character is called "Kyle" according to the link. In order for it to be one of the lost EE children, it would have to have been a girl so not the missing twin or Michelle & Grants son.

Paul isn't coming back. It was some interview with the actor who said he wouldn't rule out return but hasn't been asked and he does think Paul is a goner. Total crap really.

That's an interesting theory that the key is for a safe which reveals Sean is Zoe's twin! I bet that is actually it. Don't think we have long to wait, sure it was Halloween.

I thought the whole blood type thing was just Shirley trying to spare Dean's feelings. TBH, I would hate another stupid paternity storyline so I hope it's not going that way.

The trans character should be interesting. Looks like the actor is FTM, so would have been born female, then transitioned to male. It's a really underrepresented group in the media, so I hope the writers handle this well.

I think the only time I come on here it to rant at how despicable EE characters are. Which makes me wonder why I watch it. Blush

I started off thinking Jane was a bit of an alright (I only started watching EE after the who killed Lucy marketing), but the more I see of her the more I dislike her. How she allowed an innocent man to go to prison to cover up her own illegal activity, how she emotionally blackmailed all those around her into staying quiet, how she now thinks it's up to her to decide whether Ian sees his mum. She's manipulative.
