Suzy Parks and Roz will turn out to be exes of Simon. Still have a soft spot for him and hate Gemma, so been happy to stitch her up. Then Suzy will find out about daughter and baby at the dinner party from hell next week, and will align with Dr F in some way.

They both go into kitchen for girly chat and put poison in Simon's pudding.

Simon was/still is a player when he was younger and he lived in that town. So what if he shagged the mother when they were both younger and the daughter is his daughter. And now he's shagging his own daughter?

I doubt the BBC would go that far, but there's obviously some kind of horrible twist somewhere in all this and there was also that bit that Mary said to Gemma 'you know how to hurt people'. What was all that about?

The pills that Simon's mother took is a strange one. In her note she said that she had saved them up which is plausible. I reckon Roz took the pills (that Gemma had taken off the alcoholic doctor) out of Gemma's bag to stitch her up in some way.

If he dies maybe she will get the house through life insurance, hence the opening titles in the water. He's going to drown. The git.

The young girl having the affair has forged her parents signatures to use the White Stone property to fund Simon's business. That's why he can't dump her and is over anxious constantly. He has to keep her pleased.

They both have something to lose and have to hope the project comes through so the "fake mortgage" on White Stone can be paid off. Then he would have dumped her.

She's as jealous as hell of Gemma and that's why she was all 'are you just going to let him get away with it?' when Gemma said they were 'trying again'. She wanted the shit to hit the fan and when it didn't she was disappointed. There's something very fake and snidey about her and I'm sure she figures in all this somewhere.

Roz could know that but can't say to due patient confidentiality. Saying that, a few breaches of that have gone on already.

That Roz is definitely a wrong 'un, playing both sides off against the middle.

So a big denouement over dinner? A dinner party from hell scenario, Gemma getting drunk (pretending to be drunk?) and betraying all the secrets - Kate being pregnant and her affair with Simon, Suzy's medical treatments - first episode when Suzy thanked her for helping her -, WhiteStone, etc., but how does she get her revenge/own back on the Accountant and his wife who were in on it, or, more importantly, Ros?

I too wondered about the 'you know how to hurt people' comment from Mary.

Broken - just watched again and you're right. The pills in Gemma's bag were found after she emptied the contents on the floor - Roz picked them up and gave them back to her. Still don't like Roz though, shifty and dodgy!

Gemma is angry, very angry and while she was busy nearly drowning she plotted exactly how she is going to get revenge. Can't wait till next week.

I think next week we will find out exactly what Mary meant about Gemma knowing how to hurt people!
