Hopefully the £250k pay packet will mean Sugartits can afford a pair of trousers that don't need mending Confused

KellyHb · 17/09/2015 22:38

I don't know if they're all girls from the army. One girl she met inside was def army and was pretty stunning looking actually.

Can't believe MK's getting paid £250k.

Ilovelblue · 18/09/2015 08:31

Morning all. Not often I'm the first, especially at this time. Everyone must be very busy.

It's absolutely tipping it down here. I'm sure we've had the last of summer now.

woof loved your comments about MK's trousers. I know I'm old fashioned but ripped jeans etc have never floated my boat. I have more respectable trousers for working out in the garden!

Dizzydots · 18/09/2015 09:10

Pants real life atm, skim reading here and Greenstuffs are bright spots. ilove jealous of Vienna and grapes and woof of Lake Como, which is high on my list. kel what did the article say....so pleased you're all good at intel, I'd never know stuff otherwise. And where is ice, holed up with a Mountie or has she come back to us?

Ilovelblue · 18/09/2015 09:14

Dizzy I think ice is on her way back today.

Dizzydots · 18/09/2015 09:18

Oh good, I have been missing 'the daily fix' and she needs to be fully focused and alert in leading us into temptation on Sunday evening :)

LolaKent14 · 18/09/2015 09:43

I think Ice lands this afternoon so after some R&R she will be fully alert for Sunday!
The newspaper article said MK had obviously had a successful meeting in the BBC as she was smiling.
No mention of TG as they've no clue who the people walking with her were. They were referred to as her mates!
But lovely pic of her and TG I have great confidence in S2 after seeing them together. Obviously get on very well.

icemistOBE · 18/09/2015 12:10

Hello ladies!!!

I'm currently at Heathrow on watch for a tall, brown haired gentleman who is very handsome. No sightings as yet Grin

Only Mounties I saw were not suitable candidates although there were a few other contenders.... will be back on tomorrow properly once I've had time to get used to time difference.
Had an amazing time and now am really excited for our Warch-Along on Sun night

Afternoon.

What a busy morning I've had. Did the craziness of getting the kids sorted and out the door, sorted parents cats and then drove over to the hotel where they're staying as they wanted to show me their suite. Gorgeous views of the coast and the lap of luxury inside.
They were meeting friends for lunch in the restaurant and I wouldve loved to have stayed for lunch too but had to pick the boys Sad

Sorry you're having a pants time dizzy. Hope things get better.

Welcome back ice. Sounds like you've had a fab time. Smile

cjwoofwoof · 18/09/2015 12:54

Ah welcome back ice glad you enjoyed your trip. Unfortunately for you, the elusive handsome Mounties were all holed up literally in my log cabin. Whilst waiting for Manu to be released on bail I took a red-eye to go CJ whale watching in the Canadian Rockies and decided to make good use of the mounted male totty on my stopover. Eek! No wonder those guys have to wear such wide jodhpurs.

Richtea19 · 18/09/2015 15:51

Welcome home ice I've been following your travels on FB, looks like you've had an amazing time.

Anyone listened to radio2 today? Live from Biggin Hill. Im taking my dad to the concert tonight at the airfield. It's going to be an emotional one. Simon Callow is there narrating and just found out that Martin Shaw will be there too!!!! He was one of my favs back in the day of the Professionals!!! I will be on the look out for uniformed men...plenty there and guessing by the age range of the concert goers there might not be too much competition :)

Ilovelblue · 18/09/2015 16:34

Richtea I listened to Chris Evans live from there this morning and a little bit of Jeremy Vine when I was going to the supermarket at lunchtime. Chris Evans played the Military Wives choir song this morning and it made me cry as my Mum loved that song and I had it played at her funeral. (Filling up now actually writing this down). I bet it will be lovely at the concert. I am going to listen to it.

I saw Martin Shaw once in Cafe Rouge in Bath. He was in a play in the city. I can't remember what it was but it was a period piece I think - he had long hair and looked a real scruff!

Richtea19 · 18/09/2015 16:53

ilove I was the same this morning when they played Glen Miller in the Mood. Definatley tissues tonight! If anyone is watching on the Red Button, I'm in disabled seats with dad, and I'm wearing a bright pink scarf!! (Might be a bit chilly in the hanger.

Nickel45 · 18/09/2015 19:04

rich what time is it on?

Only a few days to the watch along, I bet you never thought it would be so huge when you first suggested it rhu and pix :) Just trying to work out now, how to watch on my ipad and post on here, I never kept the original first two eps on the TV. It certainly doesn't seem like a year since it was first on!!

pixieg1rl · 18/09/2015 19:29

Ooh, I was thinking of you yesterday nickel, the latest iOS update (9) has a split screen format on the iPad, maybe download that and see if it will let you post and watch a video at the same time?????Welcome back ice, hope the jet lag isn't too brutal.

Rhubarb01 · 18/09/2015 19:35

Evening. Will be watching on the red button and looking out for you both rich. Caught a bit of the Radio 2 stuff today at lunchtime and as you will all appreciate I am always fascinated by that era.

Probably shouldn't be posting as I have had a couple of uncharacteristic drinks but I am keeping myself under control. It's not been the best week. A dear friend of mine passed away last weekend a little unexpectedly although she had been ill and it's knocked the stuffing out of me in spite of the fact we didn't live close to each other and I have to be honest, hadn't seen each other for a while although we'd written. It's difficult when someone of your own age dies like that. I know others have faced this too and it's part of life that you have to deal with but I haven't really been in in the mood to post this week. Work has also, as dear old Molly would say, all fallen to S**t this week, so I have felt a bit stressed. However, thankfully, I still have nice people to work with, so I am grateful for small mercies.

Looking forward to the watch along. Haven't watched OG for more than 6 months now so I'm looking forward to it all seeming fresh and lovely again, if you can say that about something set in Afghanistan. Perhaps fresh and inspiring is better. Nice to see the pics of TG with MK. I bet it's going to be good and we'll enjoy it. Just hope CJ is in it.!

Concert starts at 8pm anyone who wants to know!

moojangles · 18/09/2015 19:50

Onlygirljen · 18/09/2015 19:54

Sorry to hear that rhu, fingers crossed that it all starts to get a bit easier to deal with Flowers

pixieg1rl · 18/09/2015 20:13

Oh rhu, you poor thing. Have a big (((hug)))

KellyHb · 18/09/2015 20:47

Hope you're having a lovely time at the concert rich.

Terribly sorry to hear about your loss rhu. Thinking of you.

KellyHb · 18/09/2015 21:16

Well it's all about the Rugby World Cup today. Funnily enough, I had no idea about it until I went on Daily Mail tonight. I'm afraid I've no interest in the sport but BA is probably pleased. He likes rugby apparently.

MaddieMoo82 · 18/09/2015 21:21

Sorry your having a rubbish time rhu so sorry to here you are having a rough time and sorry about your friend Flowers
hope the concert is good rich heard the radio 2 stuff earlier and it sounded fab.

MaddieMoo82 · 18/09/2015 21:22

Recording the BA Vera episode as DP watching the rugby although not complaining at watching this guy.... Grin

KellyHb · 18/09/2015 21:29

Yeah maddie if that's James Gaskell, he did peak my interest shall we say (aherm)

KellyHb · 18/09/2015 21:31

no I'm incorrect, could that be someone called Chris Robshaw? That's the man I meant.
