nickel glad you and your DS feel better after today. I was thinking about your worry today especially as when it comes to my DD staying away with school on a trip, I'll be worrying regarding her Diabetes and if she can manage herself and if the school teachers would help her too.

I suppose she'll be older and by then, would be able to look after herself quite well re: it. Children are such a worry, aren't they!

nickel I'm glad you're feeling more reassured now. I remember being so nervous about ds's first school residential trip. I think it was in year 3, but I do remember he still had what he called his 'sucky' at night, an old muslin cloth from when he was a baby. That trip was the first time he didn't have it to go to sleep with and actually broke the habit, to my relief actually.

Oh and kelly and maddie the analogy would be more an elephant coming out of his watering hole. There would be nothing mouse like about it I imagine. Oh did I mention he must be in his early twenties..?

Morning - what bliss. I don't think I've ever appreciated the prospect of a weekend more. I'm not a naturally early riser so the working week has been a shock to my system. Whilst I was obviously up for dd and ds to get to school, I'd be pottering around in my pj's.

kelly Mr WhenIBlowMyWhistleIExpectYou ToCome(ifonly) has brown wavy hair not unlike CJ, tall, but bigger build. He is really gorgeous actually! In fact, the PE dept as a whole are above average in the looks dept. Certainly not anything like the PE teachers I remember from my own school days and considerably more swoonsome than any at my dd's school.

I'm down on my ogling quota, I had to work yesterday and missed gymnastics, and I have an all day training day next Friday so it will be 2 weeks with no gymnastics instructor for me .

Maybe some emergency headset and cheekbones will help

Mm by the sounds orph this fine male specimen may have the female teachers wearing shorter clothing for school than normal. You might have to dig out your leather skirts.

Oh but pix all you need to do is watch the programmes that have been on this week and will continue the next. Between Bertie Carvel's pert posterior and Capt Blakeley in Hunted, I'm having a fine time.

Yes, what a good suggestion. I might turn up on Monday, casually holding the latest issue of 'Runners Delight' and suggest some fartlek training or whatever it's called.

Have I ever mentioned I'm a 3rd placed 'winner' not a runner up in the egg and spoon race at my dd's sports day? I might let it slip in conversation, just so he realises I'm a fellow athlete.

He might offer you further 'coaching' to increase your performance in the next race...

Chucking it down now outside so no dinnertime drinks for me watching people do all the hard athletic work. Looks like a day to do washing and watch on 4od a certain Captain hoofing it in a 4x4
