pixie how on earth did you stop yourself from accidentally on purpose tackling him to the ground?

I'm picturing you sitting on the beach, sunglasses on, ostensibly reading your book held upside down but in reality tracking his every move.

I did a lot of that on my hols!!

I don't want to misrepresent today's beach experience, there was a fair few people who shouldn't lie on beaches at the risk of people coming to refloat them and return them to the sea (I count myself amongst them)

Well, I can say that the twins are well on their way to being potty trained. I was starting to panic that they weren't interested and nursery starts in a couple of weeks. But its true what they say, one day they were both hugely interested in starting and now it's a job to get them off the potty or toilet. Never knew kids could produce so much wee!

So am pleased and hopefully they'll keep the interest up.

Been busy at work today and then was manic till boys went to bed. Think I finally started to relax about 15 mins ago.

So, can we expect an appearance of this guy in a future FF pixie

Evening all. kelly I'll hold my hat of to you potty training twins, even the thought of it with DS brings me out in a cold sweat and I've only got one (2 if you count my man child DP). Very sad about the iPad mainly because the pics of BA/CJ are very very small on my phone.... And yes dizzy I think the doggy was feeling neglected after my mammoth our girl and JA FF reading session and staged a protest. Continuing my JA obsession I took the dog to our local national trust house and grounds for a walk, funnily enough it featured in sense and sensibility (Emma Thompson one)
Loved the 2 x carshare updates, such an amazing story and would love to hear about them in New York.

Anyway I'm off to try and zoom in on some CJ pics....

Yip Maddie it was like Grand Central Station at one point with 2 boys, 2 potties, lots of running around but ice the money saved with no buying of nappies will be worth it.

I have somebody new sitting next to me now at work. I knew her by sight before but that's all and it seems we are getting along quite well. As she was leaving tonight, she shared with me that she goes to an army style fitness class. My ears pricked up as you can imagine. I had visions of CJ in episode 1 shouting at Molly. She said they run up and down a hill, then do 50 press ups and 50 sit ups. I was having a hot flush just thinking about it. I said I would be like a pufferfish but there was no flash of recognition from her so she clearly isn't an OG fan (nor has she commented on my photo of CJ on my screensaver).

Lovely and sunny but once again have a shedload of washing and ironing to do. With DH being on holiday this week we've been out with the kids more so the house is like a tip.

Oo ilove your new workmate sounds interesting with the army connection-same as OG but she could be one of the ones who never watched it. Not many of my friends watched it and ones who did weren't that bothered. Are they insane??

I go 9 Sept and land back 18th. I'll only really have wifi in the hotels so won't have much time to post anywhere or even look at posts.

Glad to hear the potty training is going well Kelly! Though I have to be honest I still had to buy nappies/pull ups for another 7/8 years because night time was a whole different ball bag! That was the price I had to pay for fantastic sleepers who never woke for anything,least of all needing a wee!

I am having a really fun afternoon doing all my twins name tapes for secondary school - one of my least favourite mummy tasks!

Poor ice.

Hopefully it'll mean when you get back you'll have a huge load of Intel for you to look at!

Hello all :)

Been a quiet day on here today, are you all twittering now? Must get myself into that, but just trying to get on here is hard enough at times! Only one more week till the kids are back at school though, and hopefully things will get back to "normal".

Well done on the potty training kel, I just waited till mine wanted to do it ... such lazy parenting, but hey ho! It is great once they are toilet trained (mine never did the potty - I hate potties!!), other than the "I need a wee/poo NOW" when you are miles from anywhere (get one of those porta potty things, it folds up small, fits in a bag, and my kids still use it now - on a layby in Cheddar Gorge two days ago, for example!!), on the motorway (invest in those pads you put on the car seats - well worth it) or in the middle of Sainsbury's with a load of shopping (run!!).
