About a month to go before it starts, and they've released the name of the first celeb.

Watching Ainsley's tango last week DP said 'if a toad were to tango, that's how I'd imagine he'd do it'.

It made me laugh out loud at the time and this week all I could see was a dancing toad. I think it's the hunched shoulders and long legs.

Early faves for me are Jay and Anita. I also enjoyed Anton & Katie.

Iwan is terrible, Kirsty seems like she should be better and Peter is too polished and confident that he's got nowhere to go. Everyone knows you have to have a 'journey' on these shows.

Yes emotion I do wish they'd stop faffing about at the beginning and get on with it YYYYY

Agree with you chipstick. Jay is becoming one of my favourites and think that he'll do well in the comp.

I have to say...didn't really notice Helen dancing - way too mesmerised by Alijaz!

On the dancing front I really enjoyed Anita and Katie. Also Georgia and Giovanni are growing on me. I admire the amount of effort Jeremy Vine is putting in even if the results are rather amusing.

I won't be sorry if either Ewan or Carol go this week (or Jamelia but that would probably be a bit unfair).

Really can't stand Iwan - he's so unlikeable and that shirt ripping was just desperate. The song choice was dreadful, the choreography was dreadful. Awful. I don't like Ola much either so I hope they're first out.

Poor Brendan, it's becoming a pattern for him now of getting beautiful, athletic women who he thinks are going to be great (Michelle Williams, Victoria Pendleton and now Kirsty) and they're....not. Didn't like Kirsty's dance, the lifts were good but I was cringing at the beginning when she was trying to look sexy and making pouty faces at the camera. She looked so self conscious, you could see she was thinking "I must look sexy, I must look sexy" but she looked really awkward. Plus she just seemed to be wafting her dress most of the time. Anita is able to act much more naturally. I thought her charleston was great but I'm looking forward to seeing how she copes in ballroom.

I do like Jay, his little face beaming when he received good comments was so sweet.

Haha about Ainsley looking like a dancing toad purple, he really does. Loved his salsa, but I love Natalie and I love Josephine Baker so it was a given. It was a lot of fun.

My favourites are Jay and the beautiful Katie. I hope Jamelia or anyone from a soap go out early doors but know that won't happen

You could tell Ola knew Iwan was in trouble, she doesn't usually bring out the cutaway minuscule leotard till later in the series.

Iwan is a lousy dancer. Keeps on trying to sell himself on his muscular chest and tattoos...

Carol is sort of Judy Murray who moves a bit more but she's soo terrified, I don't blame but why put yourself through it?

I don't usually get very involved at the start, but he was fab! Yypeatfruit, sensitive.
And Ainsley as a toad, YYYY wind in the willows ballet!

Len has mentioned heel leads just a few times but don't think the viewers care about that and Len knows it.

Jay is a big surprise as can't remember being impressed with him in the group dance. Have thought he was a sweet boy though and his walz was enchanting. Loved the way he emersed himself into the romantic role from beginning to the end.

I can see Katie Derham and Anton getting to the final against Peter and Janette and actually winning in the same way that people bought the Rage Against the Machine single in order to topple the X factor winners.

Alijaz - gorgeous! Liked Helen (didn't know she'd danced before), Jay, and I couldn't help liking Ainsley. He really performs a dance. Like Anton too.

I think Iwan should be taking a long hard look at himself. In a group that also contains Orange Pete, Jamelia and Ainsley Harriot, being the most irritating person is seriously bad news. I hope he goes this week.

I so want it to be the Orange twat, but I think Iwan or Jeremy will go.

I Don't get the Alijaz thing. I find him creepy too. I fancy Darcy more than any of the blokes and I'm straight
