I've just watched it on iPlayer. I thought they would just put her in that stasis machine thing. Why not?

Is anyone else finding that in this series the sound effects and music are so loud that they drown out the dialog? I'm really struggling to work out what they are saying most of the time.
Or am I just getting old?

Can someone explain why the doctor is sooooo obsessed by Clara? Why was she special?

Please tell me. He's so old compared to her and I just don't get the obsession. Why is she so important?

My first thought was the hybrid must be Ashildr but then my DD said that Ashildr used the spare part the Dr gave her on the man who would have hung so if might be him. My money is on Ashildr
