I do cut EE some slack when it comes to giant tiny babies. I guess it's difficult to get one the right size and they are always cute :)

I dont think you missed much of the ending onTuesday - it was a blink-and-you-miss-it shot of Lauren looking worried and saying to Jane & Sharon "I think my waters have gone..."

I know it's only a TV show but it was really irritating me yesterday that Lauren had travelled alone so heavily pregnant then given birth without her partner or mother there!! Maybe if she'd said 'oh mum's just left' at the beginning of yesterday's episode and made it seem like Tanya had been there for the birth that would have been believable. Sorry rant over :)

The camera angles were weird I think the camera man was trying hard to cut Matthew out of the picture coz he was so distracting, I was like "someone pick that baby up!"

Lauren seemed so natural and genuine with the baby too like you'd expect, perhaps because she's recently become a mum?

How old is Matthew supposed to be? Agree about the chair and Roxy had to stop him falling out, what was that all about?

I was impressed by Lauren galloping around everywhere.
I felt sorry for her that no one went to bring her home from hospital and then she came and put the car seat on the chair Shock. I'm pretty lax went it comes to safety but car seat on a chair is dangerous! Why does EE do this? GBP was put in a forward facing pushchair when she was a few weeks old, Matthew was about to fall the other day and now this.

They made a big point about that too. No pain relief, big deal. I had an epidural with my first, if I'd had a long birth like that with my next 2 I would've had one again.

Lauren had a sneeze birth, surely they wouldn't have had time to hook her up to an epidural?
Baby Louis looks awful big for a smallish newborn, very cute though. esp the smiley winkey poo face when he was on the bed.

Why is Charlie not just going to a solicitor? surely as he has been the main caregiver to Matthew, he would have a good case. And that's even before any mud slinging about her having been convicted of a crime against a child (kidnapping), etc...

Just managed to read all 32 pages of this thread as been catching up on Iplayer over past few weeks due to holiday etc.

Sorry to go back to shabnams stillbirth, but having had one myself 18 years ago, I've been waiting for this to come up as a storyline ever since. I thought it was really good that they made it quite non dramatic at first. Just realising that there were no movements, not your usual ee emergency. Also the horror at being told you have to give birth naturally. But why did nobody offer her pain relief? I was hooked up to morphine and had as much as I wanted. I was sad watching the scenes but really stirred up by all the mumsnetters who posted on this thread who've suffered in this way.

Btw, I've decided at the moment I don't really like any of the characters on ee at the moment except Nancy (and by extension, Tamwar). Hope she stays sympathetic.

lauren got a taxi home alone after giving birth, and why isnt Peter on next flight home to meet his son and more so ian to meet his first grandchild

charlie is sooooooooooooo heartbroken at ronnie leaving him that he decides he actually wants roxy now

why is amy going to see her dad/jack in France in school term time? hope roxy got fined Wink

ronnie make a huge deal about her being late for the doctors, ' i would have been half way there now' - its across the bloody square!!! hardly miles pmsl Hmm
