Morning! Think the silk scarf didn't help with the effeminate issue but it would have been surprisingly good at keeping out the chill up there and very nice next to the skin darling!

Dance for a second or two I thought you were referring to RPJ and wondered at what point Rupert got involved in an incident in Afghanistan or whether CJ and RPJ had already had a go at the Naked Fireside Wrestling. Thanks also for clarifying the wording on those funtastic pants. I couldn't quite make it out and was seriously worried for a while at what the blurred images might be.

Ilovelblue · 02/08/2015 10:32

Morning all. Agree about the scarf adding to the effeminate look. The cravat helped too. Why did he wear that when everyone else was in full uniform?

Really must start working out what to take on holiday. All I've done so far is buy extra suncream and yesterday a straw hat which will fold up in my suitcase in the Accessorize sale.

KellyHb · 02/08/2015 11:55

Late morning all.

Safe to say I can't handle prosecco very well. Tried it for the first time last night and two glasses are my limit!

BA seemed quite effeminate yes pix. I am hoping too it's because he was young but he def overegged that trait. It would've been nice to see him dance with one of the ladies in the pub. But as CJ-the epitome of masculinity. Grin

I'm changing my mind slightly on BA and gay. 90% not and 10% for. Especially when I saw the dancing video of him at college and he was pretending to bum the bloke in front for a couple of secs. People were laughing and his family were recording it and they mustn't have been bothered. I just thought, would someone straight do that? Unless I'm being prudish. Confused

pixieg1rl · 02/08/2015 12:17

You just need a bit of training Kelly a couple more glasses every night will work a treat.

icemistOBE · 02/08/2015 12:23

One bag packed, one half done. Been busy this morning getting sorted for week away. This was largely making sure hubby has enough work clothes ready Hmm

Probably pix.

DH has just had to take one of the twins to A&E. For a few days, he's had a rash on his chest. It didn't bother him but we took him to doctors and he said could just be a infection or excema and gave hydrocortisone cream. Its def not excema as I used to have that and it looks nothing like it. Its much worse today and we did the glass test for meningitis (I always think rash-could be meningitis) and the rash stayed so he's gone straight up there. I couldn't go as I would be a nervous wreck where DH is much calmer. Just waiting to hear anything. Hope its nothing.

Nickel45 · 02/08/2015 12:37

Hope it all ok kel. Sending hugs xx

My littlie fell over this morning and I thought she might have broken her wrist, she made such a fuss - she usually just gets up and gets on! Luckily there was a paed nurse nearby and she wasn't sure either. However once she managed to open a sweet using that hand, we decided she probably hadn't! Looks a bit bruised, so waiting and seeing!!

pixieg1rl · 02/08/2015 13:00

I hope it's nothing serious Kelly.

Crafty test there nickel but good to hear she seems fine

icemistOBE · 02/08/2015 14:19

Hope LO is ok kel

Just reading about Cilla Black, very sad news.

Just checked weather for Ireland, my idea of getting a day at the beach are disappearing rapidly.

Hope all is ok kel

Rhubarb01 · 02/08/2015 14:51

I didn't know about Cilla until I read your post Ice. That's sad news and today 72 is still relatively young. Apparently she said she was growing old disgracefully and that was her only plan - hope she did it. Have to say 'Anyone who had a heart' is one of my favourite oldies. I always stop and turn up the radio when that comes on.

Kelly hope your DS is OK. Kids do get these things for no good reason sometimes. One of my DD's got a nasty looking rash all over her although it didn't itch or hurt and she didn't seem ill and I went to the doctor who for a few minutes thought it might be Scarlet Fever but eventually said it was the tail end of a virus because she'd had a cold and then it just went by itself after a few days. Fingers crossed for you.

moojangles · 02/08/2015 15:31

Been holiday clothes shopping, well DH has-seems I am the clothing size of an oompa loompa/obese midget.. had fun finding as many pairs of trousers that were the same length as me.
Watching First Light now... there is something a tad camp about RAF number ones, even without the cravatte.

Rhubarb01 · 02/08/2015 16:51

I think he just needed to fill out a bit - he looks a little bit skinny (face and body) in his uniform. Definitely more broad and solid in OG.

Nickel45 · 02/08/2015 18:04

Any news kel? How's your DS? Xx

KellyHb · 02/08/2015 18:51

Only just had a chance to come back on. Thanks for everyone's well wishes. they went into triage, the nurse said straight away that it wasn't meningitis. But they had to wait about 2 and a half hours to see a doctor. When they finally saw one, they said it was a viral infection and not meningitis and prescribed some cream and said or we could just use emollient soap.

DH was grumpy when he got in due to the length of time they had to wait. I said 'welcome to our local hospital.' When both twins have breathing problems, they still have to wait hours to be seen.

Anyway twin seems fine throughout and enjoyed his little adventure. His skin looks better tonight too. Honestly, kids are such a worry, aren't they? Confused

pixieg1rl · 02/08/2015 20:47

Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious Kelly. You never appreciate the wait to tell you that but it's worth it for the peace of mind.

icemistOBE · 02/08/2015 20:50

Bags packed for tomorrow. Just need to arrange where to meet CJ and I'm done.
Having a relaxing drink in garden with hubby now.

ice Jel of your trip with CJ!!!!

kelly thank god everything is ok, so glad you went to A&E and they ok-ed everything.

So far all good in spain, lovely resort and large G&Ts!

KellyHb · 02/08/2015 21:39

Kids in bed and most of the housework done. Phew I can have a sit down for a bit.

Yes, having piece of mind pix is worth the wait.

Have a lovely time ice. Is it the first time your boys have flown?

Extremely jealous of you rich. Have another G&T on me. Glad you're having a great time.

Can't remember who on here lives near London but I saw a tweeted pic from there today and it looks red hot. Its wet and rainy here.

Ilovelblue · 02/08/2015 21:51

Evening all. Very glad your little boy is ok Kelly. The NHS isn't bad really, is it, despite the wait your husband had.......

Weather a bit mixed in Lancashire today. It was supposed to be quite nice but it was raining when I woke up and we've had a couple of quite heavy showers during the afternoon but in between times, it's been ok and I've done loads of cutting back in the garden.

When I watched First Light last night, I couldn't see the credits properly because I didn't have my glasses on so I watched it again over a late lunch and ended up in tears reading about Geoffrey Wellum.

Hope CJ turns up at the airport on time ice tomorrow and have a lovely holiday. Don't forget he has to be at St Pancras station next Monday for 10am please. Either that or it would be even better if he came to Harpenden station for about 8.30am then I could take some photos for Kelly!

KellyHb · 02/08/2015 21:59

Yes ilove photos of Harpenden station is a must especially if you have CJ with you. Smile

With everyone going away on hols, I think I'll be the only left on here at this rate. Grin

Saw MK had tweeted a picture of her official MK calendar pic for August. She was sitting with not much on, looking at the camera posing away. And she wants to be known as a serious actress?! How lucky is she getting to work with BA. She doesn't seem worthy really. Sad

pixieg1rl · 02/08/2015 22:06

It was baking here today. I was due a day at home (aka leave me alone I'm writing) but my brother phoned to see if we wanted to go on a picnic so we did that instead. I'm shattered and possibly a little burnt despite the factor 30.

I hope you have a lovely break ice, but you might be a bit presumptuous with a sun hat for Ireland.

I need to make a decision on which story to work on next. I have 3 stories on the go, all with first chapters done or started for all of them but working on all at the same time is a recipe for procrastination. I don't know which one to concentrate on.

KellyHb · 02/08/2015 22:11

(Jumping up and down excitedly) please pix the sequel for Operation Nyota if that's one of them on the go. I can't wait to hear CJ's proposal!! Grin

pixieg1rl · 02/08/2015 22:15

Nyota sequel is one of them Kelly but probably the one I'm least excited about, I've been in Nyota universe so long I'm a bit meh about it, but in its favour it's the shortest of the 3.

Ilovelblue · 02/08/2015 22:22

Oooh pixie - could you give us a few clues? And lucky you having sunshine today.
