There's Quinn. There's Saul. There's the old bag-over-the-head routine. It's in Berlin. I am ridiculously excited.

I think Carrie is on the kill list for being Carrie, not for what she's done, iyswim. I think Evil Eowyn has it in for her. As Hassled said, she seemed v keen to conclude Carrie was in on the breach based on v little evidence. And given the Saul mentor thing, I do think Allison (EE) wants her out of the way.

Anyone remember why Saul & Quinn set up the off the grid PO killing thing? Because the Berlin station was compromised by the breach?

Because she's annoying. Saul/Mandy Patinkin was on Sunday Brunch a few weeks ago and he did, 'Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya . . . ' Now I can't look at him without hearing that.

"Because she's annoying" is perfectly valid imo.

But because she's done little else but ride her bike and work for a 'charitable' foundation in the last 2 years, I reckon it's less likely to be sins of the past and more get her out of the way because otherwise she'll get in the way of what whoever the baddie is, is planning.

I'm having some thoughts on it but to discuss after tonight's UK episode.

Saul's evil gf wants Carrie dead and organised the hit. She is working for someone else and she is using Saul. Saul left a message for Quinn but the evil gf switched it.
Quinn went to warn Carrie and he'll protect her from the baddies. Carrie sees sense and ditches Mr nice but dull for Quinn.

Speaking of which, I've just started rewatching the first season on Netflix and I had forgotten how good it was. I got a proper shiver at the end of episode 1 when Brodie batters the photographer and ends up standing watching the White House. On the down side Dana is already doing my nut in and I'm only halfway through episode 2!

Carrie gets more stupid with each season. It makes it unbuyable. Season 1 she was smart enough to know that Saul would know that Quinn wouldnt kill her.

Hmm, maybe GoodSaul had Quinn kidnap Carrie - ie he set up the kill pretence so that she'd be out of the way of the Syrian stuff. So she didn't stickybeak.
