I have absolutely no idea about Reign kelly it was a travesty of drama, just saying as series 2 schedule is so far ahead in Jan, BA may already be committed to other things. Just not hopeful S2 will follow on at all; I think it'll be a whole new concept of the same initial idea, only this time with a northern working class girl instead of a cockney etc

Molly's journey had come to a conclusion. Her life had turned completely around. Her and CJ were together.

icemist I hope your right and he is in series 2 then I can be more than half happy that we getting series 2 even if it is a different 'our girl', and section 2 as well,if not then I won't be a happy bunny

Thinking about it I wonder if that why he did the lip bite and straw thing in those pics because he knew.....

Don't forget Sean Ward happily ensconced in Corrie so he probably won't re-sign so double whammy in the loss of top totty if BA is a no-no too

Woof I too feel a little deflated after the announcement of series 2, but thinking logically(?!) as ice said Molly's story came to a conclusion with her and CJ together, so if BA is confirmed in series 2 presumably he would be CJ but in a different role (aid worker maybe) and a new male lead would be opposite MK? I certainly wouldn't buy into him having a romance with a different medic, but reference could be made in the series to CJ and MD, especially if some of the original 2 section were also in, I hope so.

BA will be the CO as he doesn't resign his comission and Molly will be else where working etc....well that's why I hoping for

CJ def won't be in another medic romance she says with no evidence whatsoever It would rewrite his character as a sleaze with a medic fixation. I can't really buy into another love story between serving personnel in the same platoon or whatever you call it, either. Hope if there is anything romantic, it will be maybe between the new medic and someone non army as long as it's not CJ.

Ooh in that case kez can I be relieved of my sulking for a bit whilst we put forward nominations for top totty to be BAs co-star as the acting CO if CJ is to be chief charity aid worker? My nominations are...oh I can't be bothered, you know who my nominations are and I feel happier continuing to sulk. Is it Sauvignon Sunday today? Hope so coz mines already almost finished open but pretending to be Prosecco Friday.

Not saying he will have romance with new medic just that he will be with Molly still but we don't get to see her,just maybe talk about her?! They can't work together anymore and the only way round it for the programme to move forward.it doesn't have to have romance in this series to be honest as long as it has a good strong story

I don't think they would have cast her or be paying her that much if she wasn't any good,I'm sure they will have screen tested her...I have faith that it will be brilliant.when I first saw Lacey turner was in our girl, I thought she wouldnt be good and she turned out to be fab,so I will reserve judgement until it airs xx

Oh I've little doubt she'll be good tanqueen just that I liked the slightly less obvious looks of LT. She doesn't have the glam leggy physique of MK so is a little bit more relatable. Can you tell I'm still sulking like woof?

Agree to reserve judgement tan as you say. MK may prove to be a master stroke choice although the drunken jealous witch in me still thinks it's more to do with her looks than her acting ability

When is the second series of Poldark on? I need some already reassured signed-for-five-series dependability to rely on, not to mention a return to some hot Sunday night viewing. Thinking of sending DH out in the back yard topless with the garden shears to try and recreate a domesticated scything scene. Then again maybe not...a Bernard Manning lookalike snipping at the privet is not very inspiring, but does aptly reflect my mood, sigh. Time to open another bottle...

I think the casting of MK will have a lot to do with what they think their target audience is, I think it was telling that those of us over say 35 (wildly speculating here) had never heard of her. The article in the RT was going on about the young female audience OG had attracted, because obviously us old farts were watching Downton Abbey before dropping off over our cocoa at 9:45pm.

Indeed orph just ask my DH about unspoken resentment, unfounded blame and random loathing and you'd be halfway to describing our marriage. And that's just the good half

pixie think their target audience was/is way out, I mean look at me and friends all over 70, my DD is 32 and although she and her female friends really enjoyed OG and the MD/CJ chemistry, none of them went overboard unlike me .
