I hope whoever discovered the glory of fermented fruit was feted for the rest of his/her life.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:39

Grin Grouchy

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:43

Zena Garrison, there is a blast from the past.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:49

Muller is losing it now- but great effort from him today.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:50

Good hold.

Not everyone is a Murray fan, no, John.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:53

Good rally.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 18:54

ahh well.

I'm adding three times champion to the BINGO card.

GrouchyKiwi · 19/06/2015 18:58

Ah, brilliant. Relieved.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 19:05

Well, at least I can do other things this weekend.

None of the potential finalists appeal.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 20:39

Troicki beat Isner.

Bet that was a thrilling match to.

He's 6ft 10, Isner, you know.

GrouchyKiwi · 19/06/2015 21:08

6'10" you say? News to me. Grin

Raahh · 19/06/2015 21:11

I wish they had mentioned it more often, Grouchy- before he lost. So many missed opportunities.

Sad Grin
magimedi · 19/06/2015 22:29

Some of us are pro Murray - I don't understanf the antipathy.

I'd love to see a Murray Simon final - that would be some amazing tennis.

Troicki is quite nice - there's something about him..............

MajesticWhine · 19/06/2015 22:45

Yeah. I'm team Murray. I couldn't watch him tonight because I was working, but sounds like he had to hit some good form to come through. GO ANDY.

TobikkoRoll · 19/06/2015 22:46

Sorry, I'm very late to this thread and the Feliciano love-in... but a whole day later I'm still thinking about the hair and dreamy eyes Telling my DD about "Deliciano", she was Hmm not impressed with my simpering Looking forward even more to Wimbledon.

As you were with the proper tennis.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 22:51

Tobikko- you are very welcome to lust after Deliciano. He is an excellent candidateGrin

More often than not, the thread (over the course of the year, when most of us can only 'see' scores on websites) gets derailed with lustful thoughts and pictures of dogs. Grin It doesn't detract from the tennis much Grin.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 22:57

and whilst I concede that Murray did well to win the match today, because Muller, for a good while, played out of his skin- I want Inverdale sacked for likening him to Tigger. Not once, but thrice. And uttering the word 'tiggerisation'.

Sack the bastard. Grin

TobikkoRoll · 19/06/2015 23:01

Ah, I've finally found my home for lusting after tennis players aka appreciating good tennis Grin I do appreciate Rafa's muscles tennis.

Raahh · 19/06/2015 23:03

The reason the match was so good (I will shut up in a minute) was that prior to the match, it was pretty much expected Muller was, like many left in the draw- all about the serve.

Then he produced some incredible volleys, and passing shots- and ultimately it was the fact Murray's serve held up that lost it for Muller. So-I applaud Gilles Muller, (the 4th most famous person ever from Luxembourg Grin), for making it much more of a match than it first appeared on paper.

Tobikko you are in good company. his tight shorts are a particularly nice feature

Welcome to the threadGrin

magimedi · 20/06/2015 09:24

Tobikko - there are even (sometimes) pics of 'nekkid' tennis players on this thread!!

It's a lovely place to chat - lots of teasing but no one gets wound up. We all just enjoy the game.

GrouchyKiwi · 20/06/2015 09:31

Am assuming Andy is up second today?

tadpole39 · 20/06/2015 09:32

Sorry, how tall is John Isner? Is he a giant? Or a Winnie the pooh character?

GrouchyKiwi · 20/06/2015 09:39

I've heard - though I can't be sure because they never mention it - that Isner is 6'10".

Raahh · 20/06/2015 10:02

Grin Grin

Really not sure how talk Isner Is.

We ought to tweet Castle, to see if he could mention it. Grin
